No problem, I know how it is. I'm having issues with my Hellfire 20mm short cranked bottom fed atty. I have a 22mm non-BF version that gives amazing flavor but the 20mm is muted. Doesn't make sense to me because you'd think smaller atty, more reduced chamber, better flavor. I know it's just a build issue but nothing I've tried so far has worked and it makes me want to throw it across the room.

My Snapdragon build - considering the ones you tried you may laugh at mine but it's 26g kanthal, 2.5 ID at .73 ohms that I vape between 25-30W. I'm getting rich, dense flavor and enough vapor for my liking.
Not laughing at all at that build. The only thing that worries me about that though is that it may not be warm enough for me. I like a really warm dense vape. The chamber on the snapdragon is pretty tiny though so maybe it will be warmer than I'm expecting. How warm is the vapor on that build?

That's a tough one because one man's warm might be another man's cool but based on your comment it's probably not warm enough for your liking. It's warm enough for me but then I don't like too warm of a vape.

Not an RDA, but does anyone have the Aromamizer RDTA with some feedback? There's a thread on it that I've been following, but haven't jumped the gun on getting it yet. The new two post "Velocity style" build deck looks great to build on, and the airflow/wicking method is out of this world interesting. Let's just say that the tempt is real strong, and if i had an extra $40 that i could sneak out of my budget, I would do it right now. Next Friday I'm actually tweaking the budget to allow the purchase of one hehe.

This is true. Have you experimented with inner diameter at all? I'm thinking if I do a dual 26g kanthal around a 2mm mandrel I may be able to get a bit more heat out of it. The thing that worried me about that was the wicking; with a juice well that deep and a coil with that small of an inner diameter I was worried about long hits going dry.

My first build was a 24g kanthal 3mm ID .5 ohm single coil. It was a good vape but nothing special. I've only used dual coil 2.5mm ID builds since then so not a whole lot of experimentation. For some reason, I had more wicking issues with the 3mm ID coil. I definitely had dryish hits with longer pulls.

Hmmmm, I think that's a good enough reason for me to try a 2mm ID on either a 26g kanthal or a 24g N80 build. Thanks for all the suggestions man, hopefully I'll be diggin this thing in a few days.

Not a problem, I hope you end up enjoying it as much as I do. Let me know how it turns out.

By this time next week hopefully. But like my man said, it is not cute at all. LOL

Yeah I'm not too sure what they were thinking with that silicone ring or whatever it is as the air flow controls. It makes it look like those "vape bands" everyone has.....which I don't like. Other then that it seems like a good product.

Lol @ vape bands. I see these all the time and maybe I'm just naive but I do not see the point. Seems like another way of making vaping more hipster.

I did see it last night, but I've been seeing reviews of it pop up everywhere on YouTube for the past few months. I think Rip is the first one "mainstream" reviewer that's put out a video, so I am scared that I've waited too long and now the [HASHTAG]#hypeboys[/HASHTAG] will be buying up all the stock lol. His video did remind me that it's been on my list for a while now though. I don't trust his word of "this is the best _____ to date!" because it changes every week.

I do agree that it is definitely not a good looking device. This is one of the few times I’m going to play the Function > Form cards. For the ease of building this could offer, with the ability of very nice dense warm flavor, I want to go all in.

I also hate the silicone band idea. Looks so tacky. It reminds me of when the UD Goliath came out and how ugly the juice control ring was. They promptly fixed it on the v2, so I could definitely see an updated version hit the streets soon after I would order one lol. You will have to let me know your thoughts @Mr.Mann. Hopefully they’re better than the SOV Zenith that I lusted after lolol.

Believe it or not, at one point in time, I sought out buying vape bands. My reasoning: there were no drippers on the market with the type of adjustable airflow that I required, or at least none I had in my posession. I had a Mutation X v1 with a chuff cap and wanted to cut down the airflow. So, I used a vape band.

I just hold four pieces of wire in my hand, tape it and use a hair thing and slide it with my hand as I am going. I use swivels sometimes as well and I do it the same way just with a swivel not my hand. I can do a ten core very easy, vapes horrible though IMO. If your on FB check out the group coil craft and go in the files section theres good videos on all the builds.

Built a dual on this RDA. Tried sending a pic. I have IMGUR but the ecf only accepts URL ??? Help somebody Lol. Anyway, it's a lot of fun building this. The flavor is very good as well. I'm able to pour juice right in the center of this thing. No gurgling at all. It's a big sucka ! But I like bigger RDA's for cloud chasing. The airflow is very airy but as the vapor fills the resistance is perfect for me. The machining work is very clean. The o rings fit nice and snug. I'm enjoying it more on the Bigfoot. On regulated mods the vapor is thinner and less flavor for me. Tomorrow I'll probably take this down to .12 ohm. I just wanted to feel this rda on what .2 ohm would be like on a mech. Thanks for hearing me. Back to vaping this delicious cinnamon crunch on this very nice RDA The Aeronaut. :)

Great vid...replete with the old lady in the back round yelling at you.....perfect!

I think Tom said the BF Mantas will be shipping out today. I've hated every other top air atty I've tried (Rogue, REMatty, Vector) so I'm hoping the BF Manta won't be another bust for me. If it is, it'll be in the classies with a quickness.

For those interested in a non-BF Manta V2, Local Vape has them for $69.

Inswva, Manta v2 priced at $39 just landed one. Thanks for the link! I scrolled around and saw the Magma for the same price. Embarrassed to say what I paid for that atty long ago.
