I can't wait to get mine back and they don't even arrive to the modder until Monday :(

I made the following mods already:

Remove lower oring (I use a piece of Kanthal and wrap it around the oring along the bottom so it goes under it then pull up on the Kanthal and the oring slides right off). This makes the top much easier to remove but still holds it plenty tight.

Replace Allen screws with some aftermarket (or genuine) RM2 screws.

It is a compact (shorter than RM2) robust SS rba that is easy to build and vapes every bit as good as Chalice / RM2 / Aero BF.

My new favorite, even if I had to live with high feed holes. Replacing those Allen screws is a game changer on it :)

I will add that I miss using and love RM2s, but I'm on a no brass diet :)

Prolly sell this aero on classies once the cyclones get home :)

I think the cyclone doesn't drain, but i don't have one, it's just what I remember reading about it.

Mine drains, it just doesn't suck it all out. Kinda nice cause if you squonk it right, you'll have a more consistently wet wick that stays wetter longer. YMMV

I just cut a channel in the insulator of my cyclone AFC for bottom feed. It was pretty easy I just took the the center pin out and cut it with a dremmel. Should drain well (maybe too well). My other "regular" cyclone BF is a jewel.

Mines really high off the Deck so it dribbles out and sits in the well

The alternative would be to order a post shortner.:D

You know what your right gotta stay positive at least this would eliminate the reos biggest fall back and that would be the burnt gunk falling back into the bottle right :p

That is a plus but the biggest plus is that the wick will stay wetter longer with some judicious squonking. The trick is to squonk just enough that the juice stays juuuuuuuust under the coil and not flood it. Perfect your squonking kung fu and you won't have to alter the cyclone.;)

Just a heads-up, if anyone is looking for a cheap RBA to practise modifying/drilling their top-feed cyclone, or any other RBA, this $6 cheapie might be good for that. If it doesn't work out, toss it in the bin. The one I received doesn't have brass-looking coil posts or center pin, the base and body appear to be SS, and the deck is concave like the cyclone. Base outside diameter is 0.575" (14.6mm).
