Hi guys

As many of you know, I'm the maintainer of www..................... - a place where you can build your own recipes, save them as private or share them, comment on them, rate them and much more.

I hadn't touched the site since I launched it almost 3 years ago. Now I've gone and redesigned it, and made it all pretty for you guys ;)

If you don't know it, come and join the 1500 other people regularly using the site :)

I welcome suggestions, but please use the feedback form on the site ;-)

Myself - I'm still very happy about vaping 7 Marlshade: e-Liquid Calculator

I also like DV's Absinthe and FA's RY4 mixed with a bit of Shade.

Happy vaping guys!

Daath aka Lars

Thank you so much Daath. I can use your ecalculator (which I like best) AND save my recipes! :)

Daath~ just in case I haven't said it already....thank you. I have the site bookmarked, and this thread subscribed to.....as soon as I can sit still for long enough in front of a computer, I will register and participate!
....Also, do you have the .9% saline as an ingredient option yet???

Thanks for this site! I just started mixing and it's great!

It's funny. I had it bookmarked, had made a couple recipes (just playing around, didn't even have any diy supplies yet), then started really digging on this sub, followed this link and found that I was already logged in. Ha!

Thanks again for a great product!

I'm embarrassed to admit this but I finally registered! I've been bumming a ride on your calc for far too long and I want to start contributing.

We're looking forward to your creations :D
hehe actually what I like most, is that I can have private recipes - all my more or less successful experiments can be refined, until I can ditch them or publish them :)

Needs a PG/VG ratio sort option/separate page too, oh and separators from "tobacco" "drink" "fruity" flavors too

This way people can narrow down the PG/VG ratio's they like best...I find 70/30 [thinner juice] is spot on for me

You mean sort by other people's PG/VG-ratio? Interesting - I've set my defaults to 70/30 (I prefer that too) so that when I click "Adapt this" it sets 70/30 regardless of what the recipe author did... Of course they'd have to write it in the notes :p hehe

You're very welcome - I'm happy people use it :)

What do you mean .9% saline as an ingredient option? I might be misunderstanding something, but it sounds like you can just add the 0.9% to the water/vodka/PGA or even add "Saline" as a flavor and set it to 0.9 (of course flavors are not remembered as defaults)...
Can I ask you why you'd want salt in your mixes?

Daath, thanks for running this site. It's a great resource to find new recipes and manage flavors.

I see where you can search for recipes by a single flavor, but is there a way to search for recipes that have only the flavors in your stash, or flavors in your stash +1 that's not, +2 that arent, etc? This would be a great way to figure out what flavors to buy next.

Hi MaxPower - I actually have some code running that lets you search more than one flavor - It's not on the site right now, and it isn't connected to your flavor stash. The reason I haven't put it on production right now is that, for some reason, I get horrible performance if I also want to search in recipe name/notes. Without recipe name/notes it performs acceptably.

Very soon I will put it in production, but it will be a link, to an "advanced search". I just have a few things to figure out :)

I added a few more warnings - A new category for those flavors that are known to crack plastic tanks. There are now 71 flavors with warnings on them - There will be a lot more - I just have to find some good lists around the web.

Also, you can now see flavor details of flavors with warnings, even if you're not logged in. The flavor list is also visible now (no way to get to it right now) - You are still required to log in to see the other flavors.

Well, Since you asked, there is a very interesting thread here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s-flavor-add-ons-em-vw-bw-mts-acv-ect-14.html

It goes over the pros of adding a smallish amount of saline to your mixes to make fruit flavors and bakery flavors "pop" and to sooth dry tongue/throat etc. Of course, it could just be accounted for in an individual's base mix before we start calculating anything, but I thought I would throw it out there. :)

Really interesting thread! I would just add the "Saline .9%" in as a flavor in the recipe, and set it to however much you use :)

I've started on a "Resources"-page, and on it, is a link to my new flavor warning list!
The page is accessible to anyone, even if not logged in. This is true for flavor details of flavors that contain warnings too.
So far I have 71 warnings in the database - I am looking for more lists around the web of tank crackers etc.

I hope you have a great weekend! I am currently vaping G Vanilla Custardy, but with "French Vanilla (Capella)" instead of EM. I like it!

I'm definitely gonna try the saline thing, to see if there is a difference.

Yesterday I cleaned up some more TFA/TPA stuff, cleaned up VapingZone, Twoj Liquid and Inawera.

I added some links to the manufacturer's websites on some brands :) Still looking for some dealers that does affiliate stuff, so I can get you guys some discounts :)

Still haven't found any good lists of tank crackers etc - Though I haven't looked that hard yet :p Have any of you guys bookmarked anything good?

Continuous house cleaning :p

I also ensured a 15% discount to new Flavor West customers - they can use the code ELRECIPES. It's nice, but I would rather have had a 10% permanent discount to you guys. Oh well, you can't have it all, I guess.

I think it's odd that almost none of the vendors have affiliate programs - No kickbacks, no incentive to send users their way. Other than our good hearts that is :D
