I knew there was a reason for it not lasting and hence giving you subpar performance. Again it is a case of user error. I have never found it necessary to or ever have rinsed my wicks to clean them. Just dry burn it in bursts until the coils are glowing and clean. I think where you really messed it up, and your not the only one, was patting it down with a paper towel to dry it some before dry burning. This is not necessary at all. Once you wick your coils with RxW, you should never have to touch them again until you are removing the wicks to replace them for either a coil change or you just want to replace them. This is what makes them break down and degrade them the most. I am due to due a dry burn on my atty's in the next couple days and maybe I will shoot a short video of it to give everyone an idea as to how easy it is.
