I'll just put in my two cents, though everyone else has covered it. Yes, get the rm2. From reading and watching YouTube tutorials, I found that a microcoil is easier than a spread coil, bc you don't have to worry about spacing the coils evenly, you can just wrap almost putting one coil on top of the other, and they come out well. I would make sure you either have a mod with an ohm meter or a multimeter to check the resistance if your coils. You're all set then.

Oh THAT"S what a micro-coil is ?

tightly wrapped wire in more coils?

That sounds perfect for me too.
I don't know ... I'm doing, but like the neatness of a micro and the apparent ease of getting it "right"
I'd assume it would be a much higher resistance though?
I have no idea really… I've never made a coil , I don't even own a ohm reader..

YET.

A micro coil generally consists of between 8-10 wraps closely together (touching actually). Typically the micro coil has a 1/16 inch inside diameter. I am using xc-132 for a wicking material, so my inside diameter is 5/64ths. You can use just about any wicking material you prefer that can provide you with the vape you want. With a new Grand, I would suggest you start with a 1/16th ID and cotton wick. (I use a 9 wrap of Kanthal 30g for a resistance of 1.6 ohm.) Until you decide that you want a hotter wick, or more clouds, or more flavor, that is a good place to start. When you are ready to "step out", there will be all kinds of people just waiting in the corridors of Reoville that will be happy to take you under their wing and direct you towards the pinnacle of successful vaping.
