I received the NJOY emails as well. I used their products as my first e-cig for a while, but have since moved to other brands.
I admire them for making an effort to rally us as we need some direction from the big-boys in the e-cig market. I work for a major wholesale club that resells NJOYs on our website (or at least the cartridges at this point) I have spoken directly with our buyer who works with NJOY closely. She tells me that NJOY (or rather their parent company, Sottera, Inc. based in Scottsdale, Ariz., ) was formed by a group of lawyers (I thought she mentioned 5 in all).
Our company chose to resell their products based on the work they had done (when we started to carry them 3 months ago) and are doing now to try to sell them legally and with the cooperation of government authorities. Assuming the information she had is correct, I think they may be one of the companies that can have the greatest impact fighting or working with the government.
I'm glad they are doing what they can. And, of course it is in the name of profit, that's what all non-profit companies do, try to make money. I wish them luck in their (and our) fight and am glad to have them on board.
BTW: I did call my senators and send them emails, (my mom even did it and a friend, both who don't smoke, because their glad I abandoned analogs)
If you haven't contacted your senators, signed a petition, or anything yet, then please do so right away! What are you waiting for?
