What is recommended? To charge whenever it's convenient - even if only say 50% drained? Or to run them pretty low?
I know I read that with an EGO battery, frequent charging back to full, even if only partly drained, yields a LONGER LIFESPAN.
But I don't know if that also applies to an IMR kind of battery or not...
Anyone know?
And again - I'm not asking about "runtime" I'm asking if one tactic or the other will be better in keeping the battery working at it's best over months of use and recharges.
Doubt THIS matters, but I have these two types:
Panasonic NCR18650PD hybrid 2900mAh
and
AW IMR 18490 3.7v 1100 mah
