Lol I wish. I realize it’s going to take a lot. But i heard i shouldn’t use just 1 coil on this atty (inhale ghost rda) supposedly has best performance using dual.
It will. That should be an easy RDA to get decent flavor from. Start out building simple round wire builds. Space the coils. Put the coils as close to to the airflow as you can without touching the deck. Start your wattage out lower than usual and work your way up to the sweet spot. Obviously some attys are better than others.

I just started building about a week ago. I have the ghost rda and I’ve been using the coils that come with it. Honestly I get better flavor from my tfv8 tank and smok Q2 drop in coils.. the flavor from this rda just isn’t what I expected at all.. it’s totally muted. Now I’m sure it can’t be the rda (maybe partially) but I’d expect it still to be better than a tank. So I really think it’s the coils/wire that come with this rda. It doesn’t state the ohm( comes out to .31 on a dual coil build according to my mod readings) or anything for these coils. And the ramp up time takes forever, I mean it just sucks how long I have to hold the fire button. Just think they are cheap. I plan on using SS wiring but can’t decide if I should get just standard wire, fused Clapton, alien, I don’t really want a 7 in 1 coilology kit because I want the practice wrapping my own. What type of coils do you all use, flavor chasing. Could care less about clouds.View attachment 745261

Simple stainless steel 316L spaced produces great flavor and quick ramp up time imo. I also don’t care for the slow ramp up time of what are probably Clapton coils and I don’t think the flavor is improved with them either. You’ll use less power and juice with simplier coils as well.

With any RBA the position of the coil is key to getting the most flavor from it as well. My advice is to watch as many YouTube videos as you can on that particular RDA so you can get the idea where the coils should be placed for optimum flavor.

Good luck!!

I’m a coil builder myself and an avid flavor chaser and yet you can achieve some good flavor on simple round wire builds nothing makes that flavor pop like claptons do. But experiment with it because every build is a little different. Check out the airflow coil placement and wicking experiments on “Morten Oen’s” you tube channel. Until I seen that I couldn’t get that perfect satisfactory vape but with the help of Mr. Oen’s knowledge I’m getting that vape I always desired each and every pull. Hope it helps you as much as it helped me. And if you Ever have any more questions about vaping you are at the right place my friend! ECF is great and the people here are such good people and are so darn helpfull !

Well, I guess the thoughts on exotic builds is they have more mass and more surface area to generate vape. Depending on your resistance needs and a dual coil as well, you may find you do well with simple round wire, or if exotic maybe keeping wire mass on the lower side MAY be helpful since you'll have a dual coil in any case, so you'll either have pretty low resistance anyway, and/or mass in your build since you'll have dual coils.

I'm not saying don't try exotic builds, by all means do try them, it's just that you are going to have to experiment with what works, for you, and etc. I ordered some higher resistance exotic coils to see how I like them (for little financial risk) and it will be interesting to see, so far I've only used plain round wire builds (I am however, a MTL vaper, so my resistance needs are probably totally different.) If I wind up enjoying some exotic builds, fantastic, and if I don't, well, at least I've experimented with some things.

Best of luck, and I hope you find the flavor place for *you* however you wind up getting there.

I hate to say it but Morten Oen is a con man and his experiments are extremely flawed. He has no plausible advice to airflow in an RDA. Waste of time watching his videos.

if you remember you should lmk your opinion on “exotic” coils. I just wrapped my first coil ever using normal SS316 26G and the ramp up speed is definitely better but flavor still lacking, perhaps it’s the cotton? It’s the free stuff that came with a shipment from breazy, I’m waiting on cotton bacon prime. Hopefully that may help?

Maybe for you but after watching his .... I’m not getting dry hits at all anymore all though you are correct there is no proof he touches allot of points that even myself 6 months into building was able to improve my vape like by a ton ! Who’s to say ???

Exotic coils when done correctly can taste absolutely amazing that of what no simple round wire can ever produce like on point sharp mouth watering taste. My go to for flavor so far 28g kanthal X 3 wrapped in 36g nichrome ! But you gotta keep the cores parallel and don’t let em cross anywhere and it has amazing taste little crackly poppy but not allot of spit back just sound. Great coil’s tho ! “Fused claptons” tri-core

A flavorful, satisfying vape can be pretty subjective, some people like low Watts and simple builds, some like higher Watts and thicker more exotic coils.

I don’t care about clouds either as far as how they look and doing tricks or anything like that, but I have found I prefer a nice dense hit of vapor with some heat behind it, just what I find satisfying.

I remember the first time I got some fused Claptons and cranked the watts up to 75 for my RDA, really satisfying nice hit of flavor and thick clouds.

Have to play around with different stuff and find your own sweet spot, kind of like food or drinks, not everybody likes the same thing.
