Say, I remember the few years I spent on Guam, the cars were all rust buckets. The salt from the sea air would kill them pretty fast, you find you have that problem there too?

I had to make some desk caddies today, those small coffee table caddies are proving pretty popular for the tube mods.
I was a little jealous and thought I might go ahead and make one for a single RSM, turned out nicely and now I have a coffee table desk caddy for me too!
I will also offer them as a courtesy on the website in case there are any other owners of the new generation of RSM's that want one too.
That's it for me today, time for a bit of R&R and then psych up for hump day!

Cappy, I might wish I had asked you this before you sent my destroyer out, but, can the tank wells be reamed out any wider than .825"? Just curious, there is a newer genesis atty coming out this month that I am interested in but it comes in at .8661".
Ahoy dd. I could not unless I increased the actual width of the box itself. Right now it has a tenth of an inch thick walls between the tank well and the sides of the box, I couldn't make them any more thin without worrying about weakening them too much. Box width 1.0" (+/- .025"), tank .825", walls .1" (x 2) is what I calculate for.

Got a couple A7 attys today and thought I would share. They are ok out of the box but I decided to rebuild with my own 3mm wick and nichrome. .16mm nichrome 4 wraps got me 2 ohms which is fantastic at 4.6-4.7v

Got my A7 set up last night as well. Used two 2" strands of 1.5mm silica with 5 wraps 32g kanthal for 2.1 ohms. Works better than I thought it would for the price

Wow, bet it's been 15 years since I've gone to a fair... I remember the fried bread the best. Wonder what they do locally, I've never paid attention to it.
