Ahoy me 'earties, hope today finds you all well!

Thanks a whole bunch for the new reviews. Many people seem to come to the 'buy' or 'don't buy' decision based on other peoples opinion's t'words a product. When I shop for something a bit pricey it's the first thing I do myself too.

I dance a fine line with desk caddies. I would like to get one order per day, that would eliminate any financial pressure about managing to get the bills paid between batches. Two orders a day would take up my entire work availability. Three or more orders per day and I would have to find help somehow to get them done.

Right now I average 3 orders per week, sometimes more and sometimes less and this lets me get the batch done in my 4-6 week window plus get all the weeks orders of desk caddies done each weekend but I could handle 5 or 6 stands per week and still get the batch done.

I believe I have 19 desk caddy designs available, all in two different woods but I still mainly rely on word of mouth advertising. Sales pick up when the thread is busy or someone posts pics of their stands on a popular thread so trust me, I sincerely appreciate every time someone goes out of their way to show off a RSM product or takes the time to write a review.

Ok, I'll shut up now, time to go to work! arrr

Okie Dokie ... I'm gonna just throw this out to Cappy! I'd like a long box mod stand with the felt slots and the little top piece railing doo dad (like on your little single desk/coffee table stand) that would hold say ummmmmm ... 6 or more box mods! Just box mods. I've tried all my box mod feeders and the size of the little single one fits most all of them (including my Billet Box :D) with the exception of my Boggers which are a tad more boxy/thicker. Am I the only one that would like that? THEN I could have all my box mods grouped together and with the railing/top piece they wouldn't fall over like they do sometimes now in the plastic container I keep on my coffee table! :p Not to mention a nice wood box mod stand would be sooooooooo much more attractive! ;-)

A grouping of six would be nice ...

:D Would that kinda stand be possible Cappy?

If it's been a while since you visited the website you may have missed the new additions. Here is a 5 slot box mod stand that I already offer. Would it do the trick?

Here's a link to all the desk caddies; Desk Caddies

Agreed! One of the greatest things about online shopping is being able to read user reviews before you buy.
I just saw a post by 2423kids :) in another forum showing off one of your caddies. I've also seen posts periodically in the GG forum showing off your caddies. So you have some loyal fans spreading the word Cappy. I submitted a review of my Cruiser on your website a while back but I still need to do one for the caddy I have.

VERY nice ... But I would want JUST the back part! Is that possible? :D (I'd NEVER fill up all those other holes! ;-))

I looked it over and I see no reason why I could not do that for you. I could probably do the same for most dual-level stands I make but this is the first time anyone asked for one. :)

You know I still want that Cocobololo so that mine could feel less lonely Seb right? :D
Great addition with that Koa! I'm still amazed that Cappy managed to keep the same size between the DNA12 and DNA20!

Well, I cheated. I had to use a inverse tachyon burst to collapse the containment sphere so the stable dimension was no longer in phase with the adjacent 2nd dimension. Pretty basic woodworking stuff. The Destroyer20's are about .3" taller than the Dest12's.

Pretty hefty stuff. Lucky you didn't create fractures in the nacelle's and start venting plasma in the lower decks. God forbid you'd have to eject the core mid batch!

I know! Or risk a rupture in the dimensional barrier, and I don't think Species 8472 would buy many of my mods! Bwa ha ha ha ha!

Perhaps the Borg would help us if we gave them DNA 20 mods to assimilate. I'd take a PV attachment on my hand any day!

Edit
Removed after better judgement :p

Back to the caddys for a moment, I am ready to order my second five place box mod caddy, but I also have two boggers I would like to place in it. The depth is fine, but the slots need to be wider - the widest point on my mods is 1.285". Could you do a one-off with at least the two end slots widened to 1.35 or so?

I could take a sanding drum to it to make them fit, but the results will not be pretty:blink:

Btw, those spots aren't hard to fill - it just kinda happens if you let it.

I love the new 5 slots too. The problem is I already have 2 3 slots caddies, they would be useless if I take one. Life's hard but as I'm now down to only 5 wood boxes, that means that I really need another one to fill the empty space. At least that what I'll say when my wife ask why I need a new PV...again! :D

I looked at the top and yeah, I could make the two end slots 1.35. The slots would be flush with the standoffs but it should work ok. Just mention the bigger slots on the comments section when ordering whenever you want it.

Have a great day me 'earties, arrr
