Good morning crew!

After waiting 4 hours for brake pedal assemblies, we ran 15 trucks and I held the line up for another 3 hours waiting for hvac's. But we got them in and I built, signed, and installed the last Hvac. The guy who usually installs them was "passing the torch" as he installed the first of 900 series hvac's. I almost feel bad for whomever buys that truck, there are signatures all over that thing hidden under everything. :D

Maybe you could do every other batch with pre-orders or perhaps only take a couple pre-orders per batch?

I came to the conclusion yesterday after seeing the multi body wood mods I was just going to tell you I wanted that new Brazilian walnut as the main body wood and let you have fun with the rest. You've seen all my RSM's, you know my tastes and I trust you :D

Ahoy me 'earties, happy Friday and all...

I'm sure you're gonna see some stuff you like waho, I will use quite a bit of the new body wood, I tend to do that when I get new toys to play with.

2 pre-orders or 20 pre-orders, it's still the same deadline. The number of pre-orders has dropped incrementally from 30 in January all the way down to 9, down to 6, and the last batch is 4....at this rate I will get 1 or 2 this batch.... just not worth the stress methinks.

-----------

I finished the assembly of 3 mods today, but now I have to shift gears and hammer desk caddies hard this weekend. I've been running the CNC machine while I'm working on mods in the afternoon, as there is no way I can get all the desk caddies ordered done over a 2 day weekend!

Arrr!

I really couldn't say when, it's never a set date and my estimates seem to vary a week in either direction. There are a lot of variables I deal with from batch to batch and those variables are getting harder to gauge.

Another factor is the continued decline in the amount of pre-orders I have been getting, it may not even be worth stressing myself under a delivery deadline anymore, especially when the mods I make for the website usually sell quickly and I can use more creative juices when making mods of my own design.

As always, I will keep interested parties informed here on the thread.

Oh no! Well, I would never want to cause stress or put a damper on someone's creativity! I just want what I want, but I am willing to wait for what I want if I know it's coming.....some things are worth the wait ;)

Happy Saturday!

I'm quickly running out of time before x-mas arrives and Monday is the last day I can ship before the Holidays, bummer...the batch will not ship before x-mas passes then.

Here is what I did today;

anyone else do something far more interesting? Hope so!

Happy holidays, arrr

Ahoy!

Sorry I've been short on posts, busy busy busy...

I had to grab David (youngest son) to help me yesterday, I had 5 days worth of work to get all the desk caddies ordered last week shipped by today and with David's help managed to get them done in 3 days and met the shipping deadline.

I STILL have to assemble over a half dozen mods, then give them their last coat of finish (or more coats if I need to sand out any scratches made during assembly), then let them dry, wax and finally ship......good grief... this batch is taking me too long to finish, arrrrr

All I can do is keep going but I'm going to take one day off for x-mas even though I'm so far behind, sorry, but I need it!

Hope you all got your shopping done! arrrr

Good afternoon crew!

I didn't even realize Christmas was this week when my girlfriend started going over travel plans. Man that came up fast! Thankfully I got all my shopping done weeks ago (Amazon, what would I do without you!) and it hasn't crossed my mind since.

You can afford more than one day off for the holidays I think. I'd bum you a few of my layoff days off I could :D

On an unrelated note, my brother came home with a bottle of sriracha sauce. I'm now completely obsessed with this blood red paste. Pizza, eggs, steak, whatever, it's all getting covered!
