yea it does look awesome, there prolly was a couple days that it got a lot of light, ive left it in the car before on the seati constantly rotate my mods, dpending on hwo i feel that morning is which one goes out with me, that one has been a go to since i got it, always have the tank filled up and its one that doesnt go off easily in my pocket when i forget to turn it off, hehe
i think its really cool how it changed like that, i never even noticed till i was looking through old pictures and i was like whoa!

I will have to make a note during sales that the Padauk will turn a much deeper shade of red as it ages.

Marble changes too but its slight compared to that padauk.. Doesnt purple heart change with time as well?

Busy day as usual, gonna run the first trial of the new desk caddy, have to run to the hardware store looking for spindles for the split level design, contest will finish up at 9 pm and I will try to get them ready for shipping Monday if I can move fast enough and get mailing addresses from the winners.

Nice to see some of you old deck hands checking in on the thread, ahoy!

ime.....love how that Paduk has turned a pretty shade of red (one of my favorite colors)!!

Arrr, finally back from the shopping run, I got the dowels I wanted in a beautiful oak. Time to fire up the machines and see how it goes. Gotta remember to stop before 9 so I can finish up the contest though ... Yarrr!

The Caddy is designed to hold tube mods to answer repeated requests I've gotten for one. I will also make a version later that will hold a box mod or two as well but this one is just for tubes and tanks.

Ok, back to work..... I'm running the second two prototypes of the new caddy now, looking good so far ... the first two went in the trash... ah well.

Nah, sorry but they were goners, I would be embarrassed to have them seen. I've about got it licked, I just wanna make sure they are very robust and can take a beating day after day.
