Ahoy, aloha, howdy!

Busy busy busy .. almost the weekend and desk caddy making time.

With the recent chat about 22 mm rba's, is there going to be a need for me to try to find a larger catch cup to allow the Cutlass to mount a bigger bottom feeder rba? If so I need to start trying to source some kind of catch cup as the ones I presently use don't come any bigger.

Have a great weekend all, arrr

I totally agree with Waho, 99.9% of the bottom feeders RBAs fit the catch cups you currently use Cappy, I don't think that would be necessary to change that, they tend to keep that 15ish mms diameter. The only one I can think about that wouldn't fit would be the Cyclone with AFC system wich makes it bigger..but you can use the cyclone itself without it on a Cutlass, AFC is not compulsory if you really want to use the cyclone ;)

+2 to the previous replies. I havn't seen any bottom feeders bigger then the current catch cup. There have been a couple times I wished my cutlass had an 18mm catch cup to put my Penelope or an Ody dripper in but that isn't really designed as a bottom feeder.

And here's hoping everyone has a great weekend!!

Ahoy, happy Saturday me 'earties.

Ok, glad to hear that the catch cup is still adequate. It seems that sometimes I'm behind the curve and don't hear about problems or complaints until a couple batches have come and gone, like when I increased the size of the squonk hole.

I'm always open to suggestions. Sometimes I can't act upon them for one reason or another but I do like feedback.

I got a few desk caddy orders in so that's what I'll be doing this weekend.

Later! arrr

I tried a dual coil + hemp setup on my A7

two micro coils with 32ga wrapped on 1/16" screw driver. gotta admit it's pretty bad wrapping.

rough install. measures about 1.5 ohm.

inserted hemp wick after a few dry burn->squeeze sessions.

working pretty good

by the way, my YinYang caddy is still doing well and says hello~!

Looking good Chet! You must be damn nimble to get both those stuffed in a A7 without shorting them out. The Cutlass 5.1 is looking great too, glad to see an old school RSM still giving it all she got!

Ahoy again.

I wanted to mention that due to recent discussions about the current ERA/RBA sizes, that I have gone through all of the desk caddy models and increased the smallest tank slot to .9" in diameter (22.85mm) so even the smallest holes can accept them.

Now I just have to change all the adds on the website and it's Miller time!

Tomorrow I ship off the caddies I made this weekend and it's back to the batch.

The Miller time statement reminded me of this party store around the corner from where I work.

I'm not sure which beer I should be buying based on that statement!

My Quilted Maple Destroyer arrived today.
Nice ans shiny :2cool:

Glad it arrived safe and sound. Your choice to have a solid quilted maple turned out every bit as good as I had hoped it would. There is a small loss of wood when I make the door but the quilting lines run together nice and smooth. Awesome!

Hope she serves you well.
