Since we were joking about it earlier, I've been trying it tonight and I'm starting to get used to hit. Feels decidedly odd, but I can get a good hit now without my eyes watering. The place where they extracted the tooth yesterday was starting to hurt when I was vaping today, so the topic came up just when I was thinking about not vaping for a day or two. Good timing actually, heh.

Gotta push one nostril closed or all you get is mostly air. Don't recommend you do it in public unless you take a hit, roll your eyes and loudly proclaim "Ohhhh... wow man ..."

Night all

did you exhale through nose only too?

Ahoy,

well I had a very unusual day today. I didn't do anything.

Had two teeth pulled in the last couple weeks and the long hours getting the batch out kinda took their toll and I really felt I needed a day of rest, so that's what I did. And I'm gonna go back to doing that some more... hope you all had a great weekend.

at least I'm done with the dentist for the near future

Greetings and happy Sunday crew!

Seen two more houses today. One very nice one (with no yard :( ) and one that the previous owners annihilated between taking the photos and moving out.

On the plus side, I know for certain we have the right realtor. Upon finding a UFM (unidentified fecal matter) in an upstairs bedroom, she basically reenacted the poo scene from the movie Ted.

I was half dehydrated I laughed so hard :D

What happened to the place with all the land?

Hi all,
I've been away from vaping for a while (2 years), went back to analogs after getting frustrated with the technology twice over. First time around it was battery life issues, second time it was lack of flavor in my liquids. Anyway, I recently bought a twist type vv battery and used on my old ego tornado tank setup with what was left of my juice. Wow! What a difference the higher voltage makes. That got me back on ecf, where I found the most gorgeous wooden boxes on this thread. The reason I'm posting on this thread is that these beautiful pieces of art inspired me to get back into vaping and hopefully getting rid of analogs once and for all.

I'm ready to order a cutlass, but I am really confused by the current technology. I understand about the variable voltage and wattage capabilities of the dna 20. Where I get lost is in the liquid delivery systems (tanks, clearomizers, cartomizers, bottom feed, plastic bottles, squonking-did I get that right?, etc). It was a lot easier a few years ago when there were fewer choices. So my question is what is the easiest way to get into a high end device like the cutlass 20? I want simple and effective, not a toy but a tool if that makes sense.

I have been watching this thread for a little while and respect any advice y'all can give me. Thank you in advance.

Farawayinn, I would suggest to go for the easiest set up. Cutlass DNA20 / A7 or Cyclone atomiser with some nice wick. IMO you can't go wrong with a bottom feeder, you have all the advantages of dripping, without the negatives of having to carry a bottle of liquid in your pockets. The DNA20 is easy to use as well, it does all the work for you, set it up to what you like, forget it.
As for the atomisers, A7 is quite cheap, and works well, I still prefer the Cyclone though, but that's only because I'm still not too good with airholes on the 510 connector I guess.
If that is you're very first bottom feeder, I would even suggest that you use a regular 510 or 306 atomiser for a while (Ciscos for example). That would make the learning a lot easier if you learn how to feed and the kind of pressure you should apply if you can actually see the liquid. Once you're comfortable with that, you'll naturally move to blind squonk, and know when to feed without even thinking about it. Once you're good with that (should take about a week), move on and grab yourself a nice RBA.
If you go for the Cutlass, you'll love this thing so much you'll never go back to anything else. The kind of device that actually lets you VAPE instead of spending the whole day trying to make it work well.

Good morning crew and welcome aboard farawayinn!

Ditto everything aidreon said. Grab yourself the cutlass, a few efest or aw 18650 batteries, a decent charger like an xtar or intellicharger 2 bay for the hardware stuff from the get go.

Ditto the 510 Cisco's for learning bottomfeeding. After you get the squeeze pressure and duration down it becomes second nature and then you can move into rba's. I'd also recommend the a7 and cyclone/era bottomfed rba's. The cyclone/era especially are very easy to set up with either a traditional silica or cotton/micro coil builds.

Excellent choice with RSM! Cappy is a great guy and backs his products all the way.

welcome onboard farawayinn. I agree with waho and aidreon. You can't go wrong with bottom feeders. I have Destroyer which uses liquid tank but it does require more maintanence. So I tend to go back to my Cutlass more often these days. If you don't mind doing DIY on atomizer(wrapping coil, putting wick through, install on screwed +/- posts) A7 is a good choice to start. This is the the cheapest way and you can also twick it anytime you want to get the best performance. This is easier than it seems because once you have the coil installed you can reuse it and only replace the wick material which takes no time. But if you don't want to bother with all that and money isn't much of issue(since it's still cheaper than cigarrette smoking after all) Cisco atty is great I hear, or even the cheap Joye atties(around $4 each) will get you going just fine too.

Happy Monday maties. I tend to use your standard boge carto with my cutlass when I get lazy. Just my 2¢. TheA7 is a good cchoice for bf rba though.

Dang, forgot about carto's. I used to use a the smoktech 1.7 ohm shorty carto now and then.

"Trained" my lady on bottomfeeders with boges as well.

Ahoy, Aloha and Konichi-wa!

Welcome to Tuesday me 'earties.

Slow to get started today, but working nevertheless, arrr.

Yes, bottom feeding is the easy way imho. Fill the bottle, put on a atty/RBA and vape. One thing I do though, I don't really 'blind squonk'. When I squeeze the bottle I also draw lightly on the tip and listen to the amount of gurgle I hear. As soon as it starts to make the gurgling sound a little bit I know I squonked just enough for me.

I'm presently using a Boge atty though. The night before I went to the dentist I rebuilt my handful of A7's and for the first time I wrapped my own coils. The first one did not work well and I need to troubleshoot them to find out where I need to tweak the build to get them to work correctly. In the meantime I lost the ability to suck (who want's a dry socket!) so I just put on a Boge atty and am dripping. Tastes great but who can afford $5 atties every week.

Blast! I forgot to get the two Cutlass 20's up on the website, gotta go do that soon.

Have a good one all!

Again? Oh well, there's no time like tomorrow to plan for what you do yesterday. Arrr

Doesn't that go against the temporal prime directive? :p

(Sorry, star trek on the brain. Having withdrawals after spending 3 years watching all of it and having no new trek to watch regularly.)
