It's surprising how difficult it is to find new technology sometimes even when you are looking.

I have searched for a 'square' feed bottle to provide higher capacity in the same space and failed. I have searched for a battery type that is more convenient to use and failed also. There is only one maker of a 5v battery that would let us avoid stacking and from the reviews it does not last very long for the size.

From everything I read the real danger of batteries comes from containing them inside a metal shell without adequate venting in case of battery failure. With the RSM if there was a catastrophic failure it might melt the bottle and scorch some wood but that would probably be the extent of the damage. It could not build up pressure as the huge squonk hole, inset tank hole and adjustment hole would provide plenty of pressure release and even the door would simply pop off if there was enough pressure.

If anyone ever comes across some new tech that they think I could apply to the RSM please let me know :)

very interesting and reassuring that you say captain, thank you very much, the idea of the 5 volts is very valid in my opinion, of course at the moment it is not too practical.
ok now i'm a dive and swim to the kraken!

last post then i go swimming with sharks, captain you ever thought of using pink ivory?
however, the juxtaposition of blacks as gabon ebony wood with bright colors is truly exceptional, blessed is he who has taken the 8 mark the bloodwood particularly, very good buy! :hubba:

I will do one more batch with the wood I have on hand then it is time to make another large purchase and pink ivory is on the list. It is 2 or 3 times more expensive than most other woods but I will get enough to do a few mods if I find some of the proper size.

It seems the demand on RSM's are mostly the Mark-8 feeders, so this upcoming batch will be mostly that to answer demand.

I review ALL my mods! I did one (early in my career as a reviewer) on the Destroyer.

You can see it @ Red Sky Mods | InVape

Arrr, taking a short food break. Here is the Desk Caddy for tube mods I am working on, the picture is a prototype, I have added beveling to all the holes and nicer engraving to the one I am trying to make at the moment. But it's a good example.

I would show it with tube mods, but I don't own any! Arrrrr
