Arrr, well, I be quick like lightening, package is in the mail. Order came in while I was printing another label
Looks like I will be spending today making more desk caddies instead of the batch, I'm out of the few I made already. I wonder how I will let the tube mod users know I have a tube desk caddy for them, I doubt they would be visiting a (gasp) "Wood box thread", yo ho! lol
I just recieved my prize. I won the Mark 9 Cruiser. It is beautiful. Unable to post pics from my phone. Have to wait till a battery charges to try it out, I have been using mostly a 14500 bottom feeder. My 18650 needs to recharge.
Is it recommended to do anything to the wood to protect it?
I am afraid to take it to work or outside as sometimes my hands are a bit wet/dirty. Maybe it should just be my house mod.

Well, I started an internship today - first time to work outside of my apartment in a couple of years. Have to get used to a "work" schedule again. And no pay for it either! Arrrrrr!
What? You have to start getting up at a 'normal' time? What is the internship for?

I'm interning with a casting agent - so I get to watch people audition, edit together video of said auditions and I dunno what else yet. Good way for me to see if it's something I'd like to pursue though. I hope I don't have any early days! Tomorrow I have to be there at 11 and with my current schedule, that's as early as I want to get up!
I didn't know the area you are in is big on that sorta thing, what are they auditioning for?
Well, I actually had to sign a non disclosure agreement today so I can't tell you what these particular people from today are auditioning for but the agency does movies, commercials, tv shows etc. Friday Night Lights was shot here and there is currently another tv show shooting here. Hubby was actually on Friday Night Lights and the other show - was a lawyer in both. Sometimes movies get shot here - couple of directors live here - Rich Linklater and Robert Rodriguez. Austin has a decent film community and they also cast for shows shot in Albuquerque and Dallas... it's weird how they search for talent.
lol, even though it was like 90210 with football in the south, i loved friday night lights, cant believe there are no more seasons, first 2 seasons were the best, you gotta tell me what episode he was in so i can go watch it, lol
