ummm, maybe it were me Cappy I know I had said that I loved the ebony bodied Dread's, but was holding out for one like those in a Destroyer. I'd love to have the ebony with bloodwood in a Destroyer...but if it's been promised to someone else, then I'll just continue my wait, I'm in no rush

@ime5000; I just ordered some Bloodwood thats large enough to make a mod on the batch after this one. If you have a specific desire please let me know

@Cherewine; I am making one Destroyer with ebony/bloodwod and it's yours if you want it, if not there were a couple others who are in line after you. I will have to order more ebony too so I can do more of them in the future.

It's a 2 x 2 x 12 piece, enough for 2 mods, a few doors and a few end caps, so you could if you wish, I should have a door for you pretty soon.

I didn't realize bloodwood was so popular. Is it the one that changes to a deeper red over time?

You should be good to go, the 2x2x5 section is big enough for 1 mod and probably 3 doors so I will have extras. I can't make two mods from a 2x2 block as I use 1.15" per mod, so the rest is doors. I got lots of doors laying in boxes, never will have a shortage of them from any wood I've previously cut

Padauk gets darker, bloodwood sorta has a quilted 3d look to much of it, redheart has the look of bloodwood that isn't quilted.

What I know is that I LOVE my Gabon Ebony and Black and White Ebony! The Black and White Ebony is really, really cool. I also quite like the Mahogany - it has a kind of sheen to it in the light. Of course, I haven't seen all of the woods in person... I suspect I'd adore Ziricote and Bocote - I like the ones with nice wavy patterns in them.
