Good day all.. Cappy have you thought about requiring a deposit to order maybe 20 or 30% and then paying the balance when the mod is completed.. If you get a deposit it is less likely a customer would back out after their mod was complete.. Just a suggestion..

Second this. When push comes to shove, if they don't claim you could keep the deposit and sell on the website :D

Behind you
Definitely take deposits. 25% is more than reasonable. Also, if you're worried about the price jump (don't be IMO) you can offer repeat customers a percentage off.

Passing wood on is win - and your batch times are still WELL within the lower end of your competitors. Good stuff and good practice as always. Well done.

Aye, I hear you guys, kinda late to do it this batch, already have some preorders in, but perhaps next batch I will do it that way. Although, I have never had a problem simply selling a cancelled mod on the thread, most people pick combinations I might have used myself anyway :)

Now I just need to decide how many pre-orders to take before getting to work again, hmmm, probably around 6 I think.

Must pay bills and resist a destroyer ii...

heh, yes Waho, pay bills, there's always next batch... well I'm done for the night, another fruitful day, to be sure!

At this rate I should start the batch with the new orders again in another day or two.

Arrrrr

Guys, I have something weird going on. Haven't tried a new atty yet as it just started, thought I'd see if you could shed some light. First off I'm on my third atty in a week in a half. My first one lasted @ 5 days then dies. The next one lasted about two full days. It was weak from the start. This one was good from the get go. Produced good heat and vapor. Just changed batteries today. Now I'm pushing the button and it hisses and produces vapor for about two seconds then starts fading out till stops hissing after about 5 seconds. While this goes on, my display shows all 8s and dots for about a second then goes blank. If I unscrew the atty everything works fine. I'm using standard joye 510 attys at 4.35. What's going on?!? I can' t afford to replace an atty every couple days :(

Ok and now 20 min later it's working again???

And......now it's not again :(

Not sure, but it sounds like the regulator may be shutting down sensing an overload? When you screw in any atty or carto only screw it in just tight enough to make contact. We still have to baby the connectors on both the mods and atties as China has yet to make a nice robust one that can take being screwed in tight without shorting out.

How many ohm is your atty that your running at 4.3 volts?

If it works fine without the atty, then the problem must be associated with that area I would think.

p.s., g'night all, see ya tomorrow!

Cappy, the atty is a 2.3 ohm. As per your suggestion, I do always just tighten. Never over. Yes, without the atty, the display keeps running. What can I do?

Update, I turned it down to 3.7 and its working fine.

Turned it back up to 4.2 and tried it again. Now the atty seems to have died and the display continues to run. Atty is dead at any voltage.

I'm not sure, but I would try switching to yet another atty. Last time I bought a box full of atties, they were lasting me just a few days each, so I vowed not to buy that brand again. At the moment I am using Joytech 2.2 ohm atties and it's lasted me about 4 days. I used to use the Totally Wicked 'Titan' atties and I could get several weeks out of them sometimes.
