I'm not sure, but I would try switching to yet another atty. Last time I bought a box full of atties, they were lasting me just a few days each, so I vowed not to buy that brand again. At the moment I am using Joytech 2.2 ohm atties and it's lasted me about 4 days. I used to use the Totally Wicked 'Titan' atties and I could get several weeks out of them sometimes.

Thanks Cappy. At this point, I'm just looking forward to my ERA coming in. These attys were a batch of 5 gold band SR Joye attys bought from digitalciggz. They were running a special, 5 for $9.99 I think. Looks like I got what I paid for :(

Glad I got the last pack available or I'd have 30 of these things!

Atties are a bugger to find if you want a cheap price and reliable, seems you get one or the other. The expensive atties seem to last a long time, some even clog beyond cleaning and use and never burn out, other cheap ones glow like a light bulb and pop first time they are used, seems like a crap shoot with the cheap ones.

I suspect what happened is the coils started to short together, which lowers the resistance of the atomizer and the regulator sensed an overload. When you turned to voltage back up it popped.

It vaped a couple times then it made a really quiet pop. Now nothing. Funny thing is, they ARE joyetech attys. i always thought they were the better ones. Seems like there's no guarantee.

Thanks for the help Cappy. Have a good evening buddy.

Thanks Waho and Pchela. Hopefully when the ERA gets here this won't be an issue. Just have to make it another couple weeks hopefuly. G'night crew.

Mine should ship soon as well, can't wait to get it. Can't complain too much though, I have a pack of Ciscos that have been performing well so far for the last 3 weeks. Rotating 6 of them with a vodka bath once every 3 days. Only killed two of these with the blunderbuss mode...won't blame them on this one, 1.8 ohms don't like 8 volts :D

Parting shot form the Pacific. I haven't had any problems with the i06. Cost more than your run of the mill atty but I like em. They work well with all my Cutlass', even Blunderbuss mode with a 3.5ohm though.:D. Well G'night maties. Hump Day tomorrow so that means the work week should be all downhill.

I have an ERA on the way too. Does any of the crew know if they'll fit in the catch cup of our RSM's?

The RSM really are the only ones I have no worries about. If it fits the cups of the REOs, RSM are no problem at all. I think the ERA is even thinner than those IO6 drip tips I use, and these ones only fit on my Cutlass/dreadnought.

Thanks aidreon. They're not as wide as I thought then. I know they fit in the REO Grandes but I had no idea how big those cups were.

Ahoy, good morning and happy hump day me 'earties, arrrr!

Are those the bottom feed ERA then? From the Phillipines? I am sorta ignorant of all the stuff out there as you know, good grief there is so much available now I can't even decide what to try to stock on the website.

Yes Cappy, exactly. Well the ERA could be found in dripping or bottom feed modes, but they seem to work wonder on a bottom feeder. Mark Bugs produced one rebuildable atty for BF as well, called the Chalice, even if the V1 only works on a short list of PVs. V2 is coming, and they promised it would be compatible with almost any BF on the market. Not like we RSM lovers care anyway...the catch cups of our beauties can manage anything :p

I do believe that these rebuildables are the best improvement that we had for a long time. A Cutlass II and a Chalice/ERA would pretty much be anything you could wish for.

Good morning crew! Happy Wednesday!

I was browsing the reo thread and they've got a couple people modding a phoenix rba for bottom feeding. For 20 bucks I figured I'll bust out the drill press and mess with it. Worst case scenario I'm out a few bucks, best case a working bottomfeed rba! Most likely, a fiddly hunk that works half the time :p

Worth a try Waho, if it works, that could be good!

Arrrr, wish I could get access to the coop section, but as a supplier I don't think I'm allowed. When I tried to verify it just brought me to a "you don't have permission to access this page" page, pity I can't get things for my personal use that way.

Yes, that's silly :(
