I will take some of the whole batch tomorrow before I give them their final coat of finish. I also have to start getting them ready for posting up on the website too. Well, tomorrow is another day, no more tonight.

Yep, time fer me popcorn and a bit of relaxing now, later!

I really do prefer the DID to all my other Genny's except the Zen~'s,they are about equal with the edge going to the zen~'s.He uses surgical SS and its made in the US,but they won't fit in the RSM's,too fat
The AC9 is purty good too,I just think the positive post could done better and its the heaviest of my bunch. The top cap of the cobra can be a bear to take off if it is dry due to the 2 o-rings,but I bet it don't knock off as easy as some of my stuff.
Eventually, all my stuff goes to work with me,but the cobra or AC9 ain't made it yet.

I love seeing past mods, thats a Bolivian rosewood scallywag and a Mahogany Buccaneer with Melokhia inlay, both are still pretty much one of a kind, especially the older ones when I was still experimenting with wood combinations.

Well met!

Yarrrr! the rosewood still answers to squeezebox!

My oh my, listen to yourself! Do you remember the crap we were using a few years ago? LOL! Remember when half of us were using plastic DIY boxes or some such thing? The big thing not even a couple years ago was what type of wick material to use and was an 801 better than a 510 and the crazy schemes for getting rid of the burnt taste in atomizers or how to stop feeders from leaking like sieves.

Wonder what it is gonna be like in a couple more years? Really makes you wonder ....

Arrr cap'n,its been 2 yrs this month since I started on a(gasp)Blu.I've tried a bunch of different stuff in those 2 yrs,I'm sure the next 2 will bring new advancements in battery, atty's(rebuilldables included)and electronics. This stuff seems to move faster than computers sometimes.Theys always gonna be a place for purty, unique, wood PV's like yours.

This is it right here. There has been a huge lack of bottom feed rebuildables until now with the era and chalice. Soon Chinese knockoffs will appear and hopefully bring bottomfeeders into the lime light. As long as they fit into the catch cup of your creations people will buy :D

I still enjoy using all types of atomizers for their particularities , 510 , 901 , 801 , 306. I do have to say i like to have a proper catch-cup on a mod whenever possible ( got a custom made one that i can move between mods, the RSMs come with their own , and a really nice custom adapter for 306 wich can hold 10-12 drops if needed ).
My over-one-year-old plastic vv box still outperforms Provaris and drops 0,03v underload with a 1.25 dual coil, so some things never get "old".
For all the rebuildables out there, wick or genesis, i still get more joy when using atomizers wich i can buy for peanut-prices,are "screw-and-go" , work great and last me between 2.5 and 4 months on a regular basis. Key is finding a manufacturer that offers consistency.

There will always be a place for wood mods. Each is special, each is personal, and irreplaceable even if reordered from the same manufacturer, due to the unique nature of each piece of wood.

For all the advances, the battery industry is holding us back when it comes to size, and it will take at least 5 years to see something DRAMATIC happening ( battery lasts me 9 days, charges in 32 minutes and this is not an ego , it's a 3ml bottom feeder that looks like that ancient ego you mentioned ).

Ahoy, good morning me 'earties, hope everyone has a great weekend.

Yes, I hope we see some new innovations that make vaping even better than it is now but there are still just some basic things I am waiting for.

Atomizer connectors, as I have said before, are the weak link in the system. How long is it going to take to see a good one made even if they cost 5 bucks each? Right now I fill the inside of each connector with glue to stop the isolation ring from deteriorating and shorting out but it's silly to have to do that to compensate for a cheap crap connector.

I've looked for a year for a square feed bottle to properly fit the bottom feeders without luck.

Yup, still waiting for a better battery alternative. I have to adapt every design around the hardware available and not what I really want to do.

I think the manufacturers spend too much time trying to improve faulty concepts, what we need is a new way as mentioned before. Lasers and juice pans with reflectors or some such. E-cigs are glorified flashlights with wick wrapped around an open filament... talk about old school technology. Arrrrr

Thanks for your help in answering my million questions Cappy ;)

Glad I could help spend your money :) What woods did you decide on? Can't wait to get mine. Still trying to decide between the cobra and bliss, but I'm leaning toward the bliss....right now haha
