Kinda slow here for a change, all caught up with desk caddies and need to wait until pre-orders are done before I get to work. Guess it is a fine time to do some much needed maintenance in the shop.
This batch is pretty much the same as last batch except for a couple things.
Last batch I noticed with the DNA designs that the old style of high amp switches were a bit long and the feed tube had to bow around it. The DNA switches allow the tube to pass between the solder tabs so I am pushing the DNA switches to be used.
If you really, really want a different switch, shoot me a E-Mail and I will use one of the older high amp switches instead.
If you have reward points they can be applied to the price of a pre-order mod.
Last batch I tried to laminate the mod doors to make the stabilized wood stronger, but the results were mixed, so I think I will go back to solid doors this batch and try to keep them as thick as possible to minimize the chance of warping.
I still have no reason to change the designs so the shape/size will also be identical to the last batch. It seems the designs are good to go.
I guess it's not that critical if I have to make several different models, so I will active pre-orders for the VV models in a few minutes for the people who want them, the Cutlass II and the Destroyer II.
