Well, It's past 10 so I have to shut down the machinery but here is a pic of where I stand with this half dozen mods.



Tomorrow I finish up the minor routing, sanding and start to assemble end caps with LEDs, switches and wiring.

Oh! I see mine! I see mine! Ohhh... I think that combo is gonna be nice! There's even more pink/red on the box elder than I thought!

Now.. who is that purple one going to? Did I make the right decision? You know this means I'm going to have to buy a purpleheart one at some point.

WOW My Zebrawood has a lot more figure than I thought! AWSOME! You think those Leapordwood caps are gonna look cool when its all finished?

Well, awesome is in the eye of the beholder, but I think it will look great myself, good choices.

Okay, lets see if I'm getting any better at identifying wood. Mine I know. 2 is zebra and leopard (okay, cheated on that one!) 3 is Ziricote/Ziricote, 4 is Marble/Wenge, 5 is Padauk/Cocobolo?? and 6 is Purpleheart/Bocote?

Purpleheart/Bocote was my first choice for a wood mod before I saw the Box Elder... I'm afraid I'm gonna have to buy one at some point. Don't make it too pretty Cappy! My wallet can't handle it!

Ok, I will ugly it up just for you, maybe add a chip or crack, possible a gap or two, mount all the hardware crooked. If I try hard I can make it look as bad as (insert competitors name here) mods, and charge more for it too!

Yea, that Zebra one looks amazing. I'm almost jealous!
But my marblewood looks better than I imagined too. NICE!!

And Cappy - it's only mean if you actually insert vendors name! But thanks for roughing her up for me! I couldn't handle it if there was another as pretty as mine!

Just curiosity, why are there three pieces of end caps?

edit: oh... two pieces for the bottom part?

Cap't brian uses 2 end caps on the bottom of mods with the led readout and on/off switch

arrr, do animals pick their noses? First requirement would be digits of some type I guess ..........and if they CAN pick their noses, could they be taught to screw on an atty?
