AW IMR 18350's nothing else! more power then the AW IMR 16340's and they fit 100%

Yep, but mine was done out of neccessity, as far as pros and cons...the IMR(red one) is high drain and can be drained of all power without any cosequence.....and the others have a shorter lifespan if drained completely...I think thats right?

shorter lifespan in both cases if you drain them below the recommended value's.

Just wondering as I'm still waiting for mine to fly across the Atlantic. But I have a choice of 18350 batteries.
Either Protected 18350's at £12 for two or IMR 18350's at £7 (These are the chemically safe ones)
Which would you recommend, what's the pro's and cons of each?

What is the C rating of the protected 18350's? The IMR's has an 8C rating and can handle a higher amp draw required from VV with the lower mAh capacity (typically 700 - 1200 mAh for 18350's).

For a much better explanation than I can give try this link

There is another great link to battery university, but I can't find it right now. If I do, I'll post it. Found it here, but I think the first link is a better explanation for this application

But emonty's post below also gets right to the point - thanks for that! :)

Bumping to the top. Hit the F5 key to refresh the pictures, the Skull & crossbones means it's no longer available.

The list is getting pretty full, the more preorders I take the longer it will take to get them all done, but I will accept one or two more.

Avast! I moved as fast as I could after the last batch ended and here we go again, arrrr!

Pre-order time for those scurvy dogs what's wantin' em made to order. I'm only making Mark-5.1 Dual mode Cutlass's this time as that's what everyone is screaming for.

Choose a Main body wood, end cap wood, Hardware (nickel or plated switch) and round or soft octagon edge style.

PM me your choices and I will confirm that we are good to go and I will add your mod to the list.

As before, base price is $179. Expensive main body wood selections may add to the cost. The added price is noted in the main body wood picture. No other options will add to the cost. If you want something unusual done to your mod, ask me about it and we can discuss it and see what can be done.

Main body wood selections;

End cap wood selections;

Hardware options (Gloss black hardware also available).

Edge options, rounded or soft octagon (ask if you want something else done, I may be able to do it for you).

I will probably end pre-ordering around Wednesday. It will take about 8-10 days to complete and ship the mods once work begins.

The Mark-5.1 Cutlass;
Featuring dual operating modes. Direct battery mode to run unit at 3.7V using 18650 battery types and two battery combinations for 5V, 6V, 7.4V and variable volt mode using dual 18350 type batteries.

Standard features;

3 amp switching regulator
200 thousand cycle Stainless Steel switch
Large catch cup
Sealed 6 ml feed system
Native 510 atomizer connector
Digital Voltage display
On/Off switch
Dual mode switch (Direct & variable voltage)
Voltage adjustment tool (mounted to inner door)

Ahoy, a couple people have asked for bottles, I will make them available on the website as soon as I can. I am waiting on steel tubing and bottles and when they get in I will spend the day drilling out bottle caps and cutting tubing so I can get some up for sale.

So much stuff on order, it's gonna be like x-mas around here this week, har !
