Well I made a run to Radio Shack today and did a little tweaking to Irene.

Hey guys... Tragic news. Really need some advice here. I'm devastated, but I don't think it's irreversible.

Anyway. I got out of the truck a few minutes ago, and forgot that my RSM was on my lap. I don't usually ride in the truck... If I was a Subaru, it would have been different. Anyway, wiring is fine. The removable side is fine. But it cracked clean between the endcap and panel on the attached side (where the wiring is). It's a fairly clean break that looks like it could be fixed with superglue. But I'm not sure if I can do that? Any negative side effects? There's also a scuff on the bottom, small but still somewhat noticeable. Possible to buff out? Any help would be appreciated. I'm so bummed. I just got her yesterday.

Damn Summer. Sorry to that. I cracked one of my phids before and used Elmer's wood glue to fix it. Ya just have to let it set for 24 hours with a rubber band around it. Then I cleaned up the excess glue with an exacto knife and colored it with one of those furniture markers. Unless ya look real hard you'll never see the crack. You should be able to buff out the scuff if ya have a buffer.

Summer, you could use superglue and clamp it for a couple hours as mentioned before, but could you post a picture of the break? Also, I know you just got it, but if you send it back to me, I would bet dollars to donuts that I can fix it so you can't even hardly tell where the crack used to be :)
