Here is where it has come off from my wedding ring. I'mm looking into getting it nickle plated.
Shipped the wood out to the Capt' today. I'm curious to see what it will look like without the lacquer junk they put on it "for photographic purposes".

How does the chrome hold up ? i suspect it would scratch a lil easier..

Oh hell yeah. A midnight blue powder coat would look awesome and be cheaper.
I use to have a chrome Pro Vari and it scratched rather easily.. The bottom of my extended cap was all scartched up just from sitting upright on my desk..
