You should be charging for any non warranty work. If a part is faulty, ok cool. I'm more than willing to pay for my carelessness to get her back to working order.

Yeah, I suppose so, but at first there were not many at all, but I suppose its all a percentage. The more mods I have out there the more repairs I will have to eventually do and now that it is in the hundreds (can you believe it!), I am getting more and more repair work to do.

Bumping this up for Dino.. This is where he's at right now.....

Arrrr, I did not get as far as I had hoped today but I will let you take a sneak peak at the final layout for the Mark-7 Destroyer.

The parts that are in it are just ones I use for test fitting everything. So far it looks good and I believe I have solved all but one part of the process. The box in the picture has not been edged round so still has a square look.

The final size of the destroyer looks like it shall be 2" x 1" and 4.75" tall, very comfortable in the hand.

I made it tall enough to inset much of the tank and it should be very difficult now to damage or break off a tank unless you wreck the hole box. As you can see I could lower the tank another inch but then the fire switch would be in the middle of the box.

There is a 1 1/2" tank in there for the picture.

Okey doke. Here is the first Mark-8 working unit, just needs some totally minor tweaking and I think it is ready to go. The wiring takes twice as long as normal, but it is mostly out of sight and has a pretty clean look don't you think?

The CC is inset about half its height to further prevent leaks and I tried a little more oval of a squonk hole than the previous models.

I used a display I usually use for testing, the normal ones will be black and you adjust the voltage from the bottom as usual.

Click on the thumbnails for a larger view;

I held it in my hand for pictures so you could get a feel for the size.

I figured thta I'd bring this back up front. You showed strpr the roughed out Destroyer, but you didn't give him the finished idea. This is similar to how it will look finished. Just shave 3/4" off the length and have a little less than half a tank where the atty is and you have your Destroyer.
