Maybe one of the old-timer experts could write a short primer on how to use the stand and fill method. I've used it a bit, it works but I'm hardly an expert on the matter.
As far as I can see, squeeze the bottle slowly until you see juice pooling near the top of the chrome drip well, then let off the bottle and most of the excess is sucked back inside leaving a wet atomizer and dripwell.

Cappy where do u order your S/S catch cups I think I want one for my DIY kit so I'll have one of each
It's from Digikey, the center hole has to be drilled out to 11/32 for the atty to fit inside. It took alot of searching to find this gem, but I'm very happy with it now that I've started using it.

I had been looking for weeks when I stumbled upon this, It had to be the right size and look, I passed up quite a few things that looked too cheesy for my taste.
That's pretty close Cappy. Except instead of juice pooling at the top of the catch cup, you just wanna see the juice peek out between the atty air vents at the bottom of the catchcup. Then STOP. To "blind squonk", like while driving, or in the dark, you squeeze the feed bottle while drawing on atty with no fire until you feel resistance with a slight gurgle. Then STOP. Your ready to fire and vape.
