I know my sense of value is skewed because of my age, that a hundred bucks today buys a CPU upgrade or cheap cell phone, but a hundred bucks when I was young bought a used car. I suppose your right, if I make it and it is nice enough someone will buy it, but I have to constantly fight with myself to take the plunge, lol.

edit; It also doesn't look that different in color than the redheart I am already using and redheart is half the price :)

Your right it is perty close to the color.. ive only seen 1 mod made with pink ivory, i dont like pink but gotta say it looked perty cool.. It was made by Brad.. its in his thread somewhere..

It is definitely more pink than the Redheart on second glance, the Redheart is a real red in color, sometimes a bit orangish in patches. I went kinda heavy on the Redheart this batch as I detected alot of desire for the Redheart with Gabon Ebony end caps from talk on the thread.

Edit; I just took another look at the ones that look orange in the picture, and under a normal light they look just as red as the other ones in the picture. I am going to have to be careful to watch the angle of lighting when taking pics of them, arrr

Crap. I might be needing a redheart and ebony destroyer to go with my redheart and ebony Syrena. :)

They are pretty, and it's "Cappy", not "Crap" or "Crappy", but thats ok ...

I am making 6 Destroyers, 9 Dreadnaughts and 7 of the new Mark-9 Cruisers this batch. I don't have enough regulators on hand to finish them all but will have them done during the coming week as well.

 The 'crap" was meant in the exclamatory sense. I'm not the one that makes that mistake. :)

Those new ones would be a good match for the Wench. :)

Color match is not too bad. What is your opinion of the Teak Burl? Does it seem sturdy enough? Are the defects inherent with stabilized burl something you can live with? I am thinking of making more mods from burl but am worried about the durability of using it.

Would you make a custom size box? I have everything I need to make a 26650 single boosted VV mod for myself but I need a box to put it all in.

I would need an idea of what dimensions you would need, and my choices for wood to contain such a big battery would be limited. I think I have some Black Cherry, Bocote, Leopardwood big enough, yellowheart too ... hmm, thats about it.

I love burl. I understand that perfect pieces of burl are extremely hard to come by. Voids are to be expected. The teak I sent you wasn't stabilized, but I have have some mods that are stabilized. I am not a fan of the dyed stabilized woods, though some of them are really pretty. I like the natural look. One of the nice things about burl is it is generally extremely hard. Amboyna is gorgeous and I would love to see a mod made out of that. A exhibition grade piece the size you need could run upwards of 60 bucks though. I spent $40 on a set of scales.
