yep coke works great.. I tried thid Crappy green tea in an atty, no matter what i used to clean it i still tasted that stuff.. Soaked it coke overnight.. Using it right now.. No green tea at all!!

Cappy, Did your atty have like gunk build up on coil or just clogged? I think I'm still quite newbie when it comes to cleaning atties. Just can't get it to better condition.
I have this atty with heavy gunk on the coil. I tried hot water bath, coke bath, vodka bath, ISO alcohol bath and it still has the same gunk, so it's just sitting on shelf. I tried vinegar + baking powder method too on other atty and nothing got better. I used some third brand cola on coke method and I'm thinking CO2 running out fast maybe has something to do with it...
Do you think I should try again with coca-cola or pepsi? or maybe diet one is better? Should I keep it air tight or just leave it?
