Whenever anyone posts about the commodore, I think of my first computer.

Heh, you're showing your age .. here is my first computer, bought it in 1980. I didn't have the tape player at first, so when I typed in a program from a book I got at the book store, it Lost it when I turned the power off. When I got the tape player I thought it was slick as bug-....e that I didn't have to type in programs anymore but could buy them on cassette!

I used to play games using tape player on Apple II.
It was like mid 80's I remember.

Ahoy me 'earties, another day in the shop for me but things are moving along nicely for such a large batch. Nothing worthy of taking pics yet, but pretty soon.

Today I install the lid magnets, make button channels, drill out the atty and button holes and then final edging and cutting of the boxes. Half way done, arrrrr

Arrr, well got almost everything done today I wanted to get done, so right on schedule, even spent a few hours playing Gears of War with my youngest son just for something different.

Yikes. The place I got the wood for my Destroyer just sold a couple similar pieces for $70/ea! It's nice to be on the train early for once.

I know Ben, the price of wood sure seemed to jump the last few months. I found some outstanding pieces of B&W Ebony to use except it would have cost an extra $75 to $100 per mod! to use it.... too much ...
