Ahoy and happy Friday!

Stupid router arrived today and it has bearings worse than the old one. I plugged it in and ran it for 10 seconds and burned my hand on the housing ... back it goes for a replacement, what a pain...arrrgggg

Looks like the first coat of finish is nearly dry, time for the second coat then on to final assembly tomorrow, arrrr!

Ok, E-Mails/PM's answered, time to go to work again.

Oh, I bet you could sell a Cutlass in a heartbeat to fund a new RSM.

I like the softer octagon edges btw!

I just sanded them a bit more aggressively on the belt sander, I can't make them totally round without risking going through the wood but I can get them almost rounded. It seems people do prefer them to be more rounded?

i would say my opinion, do not shoot me please, but i prefer the octagonal square hard & pure, this style is brilliant for me, distinctive feature of an evolving style very unique and refined, but everyone has their own tastes.

however also rounded are beautiful and elegant!

Ooh, interesting :)

Ahoy mark! Congrats, could you please PM me with your E-Mail address? I would like to send you a invoice for 25 cents, then I can get all your shipping information, print you a label and get your prize in the mail, much quicker that way. :)

I can also then get your personal warranty info for your new mod too if you don't mind, yo ho!

(If you don't use Paypal, you can just PM me your address and I will go through USPS)

I love the cocobolo too first thing i had made from it!

I should look into making more of those in larger quantity. Find someone able to do the final assembly, sanding, gluing, finishing and just send them the parts and split the money, I have no time to make a steady bunch of them, too time consuming :(
