How do I put a banner up

View and copy the banner you want to your desktop, then upload it to a service like photobucket. Then in your user CP add a signature and use the image icon to insert it. Think thats what I remember doing.

Hmm, I appreciate the PM's and E-Mails of support, to not let the little biting fleas, the p**s-ant back-stabbers, the anonymous comments left by less than courageous people and even the disingenuous attempts to 'help' (by people with hidden agendas), but I am fine.

To put it another way, I grew up in N. Minnesota on a typical poor farm. I can survive a cold shoulder and live on rice and beans if I have to.

I managed to survive a career in the military so I understand discipline and can stay the course if I set my mind to it, nobody can alter it.

I even kept my head during the gulf war so I think I can also survive the occasional sniper attacks from the faceless masses of the clone brigades....

Game on... all guns are manned, the battle pennant is flying high. Yo Ho! LOL

Now, lets talk about something else. What other kind of inlays can I use? As you know I don't use store bought mass produced inlay and like to add a personal touch.

I'm going to use some of the recon-stone this run and see how it looks. I posted a couple pics the other day, I think it might look awesome!

arrrr....

No, nothing I said a moment before has anything to do with the people who frequent the thread here, it's the BS that goes on behind the scenes. If it wasn't for the help of good people like AG, Lazz and others I might not have made it this far.

You are all the 'good guys' in my books.

Drink up me hearties, fer tomorrow we may be dining with Davy Jones!

Screw 'em all Cappy!

You have the balls to get into the biz and put yourself out there for the criticism.
Piss on the ones who want to be jealous of your talent.
And make no mistake...you got talent!

You've come a long way in a very short time.
I know, as a small businessman myself, that it takes time to get everything rolling.
Lots of frustration in the interim.
Some will do everything they can to cut you off at the knees.

Keep on truckin' brother!

Got my scallywag kit today. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I cannot wait to get started on it (Black walnut, Bocote caps) Hell I could probably just clean it up abit, sand abit, and put together. Nah, better do it right.

Brian, in your instructions you warn of breakage by the squonk hole. Are you referring to sanding pressure on the unsupported side the hole is on?

Great job.

Great job.

Exactly. The thin wood around the squonk hole is the weak link. If you do break it tho, a bit of super-glue will fix it right up. Superglue is also a poor mans wood stabilizer if you need to strengthen wood fiber, fill cracks (checks) and do minor repairs. It dries hard as glass and clear as well. Fumes will eat ur eyeballs tho... arrr
