Here is the bottom end of the first prototype showing how it operates. The adjustment Pot is the small hole on the right side of the end cap. The display is activated in both modes with the main push button.

The switch in the Down position shows the voltage at the atomizer.

The switch in the Up position shows the output voltage of the batteries only, it is also the safety position as only the LED is active.

There is a center position of the switch that will turn them both off, but there is no 'indent' in the switch to let you know it is centered.

why if it's a prototype then i hope you are finally keeping one for yourself;)

Actually all 5 that I made are prototypes, I have one more I will put up on the website and one that did not survive construction. Only losing 1 out of 5 during a prototype run is great IMHO, but I was being as methodical as I could seeing how I was designing as I was working, lol

The only blue county in Texas!
So I will have a prototype, original Cutlass by Red Sky mods that will be worth meeelions of dollars one day? Woohoo!

I love mine. You did an awesome job and I bet the pictures don't nearly do her justice! Can't wait to see her in person!

~ Was it the purpleheart that didn't make it? It's okay... you can tell me if it was. *sniffle*

I'm sorry, were you close? Poor #P516, she didn't make it, I'm afraid she had a tragic accident when I sneezed using the table saw, (nearly tragic for my thumb too).

Here is the other prototype "P" that survived tho, #P516 - Padauk / Bocote

Awww... poor little purpleheart! I was afraid I'd be jealous and she would make me want to pick her over my beautiful ebony so maybe it's fate that she perished so.

The Paudauk is sweet! You shouldn't have any trouble selling that one!

P.S.

I'm glad your thumb was spared.

Yes, "No digits were sacrificed during the making of these box mods"

I think I might have gotten some exotic wood dust up me nose tho, either that or I am coming down with strep throat and an ear infection or something, arggg..feels more like ebony dust reaction, perhaps I wasn't careful enough today? Thought I was....

Someone wanna take over the thread tonight? Think I might turn in real early today. Mods are drying so I have nothing pressing to do atm...

Later all, have fun
