Yeah... Looks like mine made it all the way from Florida to Seattle in one day.
I might be able to get it tomorrow if it arrives.
I just gotta cross the border which is 20 min away.

Yeppers! USPS updated. My ziricote arrived at our sort facility @ 11:06 tonight. Will be here tomorrow:)

In contrast, some juice I ordered took 5 days (USPS 1st class) to get from NY to Atlanta. Grrr....

Anyway, you know the ship's rules guys:

"Pics of all new mods are to be posted within 24 hours of receipt!!!!"

My African Queen has arrived!

Sweet! I hope she is treating you kindly :)

Please take a moment to read the instruction sheet and remember there is a 7 day money back, 3 month warranty with each one. If I can't fix it as good as new I will replace it with a new model as similar as I can make it.

To keep it looking new, please use a clear wax product, many people recommend 'Howards Feed & Wax'.

Hope you enjoy!

I just tried an experiment. I have an old LR 306 on it that I have been using for a while so I flipped the switch up to the direct current position and pushed the button and nothing happens the meter doesn't even light up. When I unscrew the atty it gives me the battery voltage. This leads me to believe that the regulator shuts it down and wont let it fire if a mistake happens and your atty is too low of a resistance for the voltage,

Edit: I'm using protected batteries also as my AW IMR's needed topped off so that may be it too.

The only blue county in Texas!
It's here! It's here! It's here! Wow - it's so beautiful! Honestly, the pictures absolutely did not do it justice! It's vaping nicely at 3.9 with a 1.8 lr atty ~ I know, I'm a wuss! The wood combination is stunning if I do say so myself! Is there some sort of darkener on the voltage readout? It's got little lines in it - I just want to make sure that it's a cover and not the digital readout being wonky! It's a bit big for my hand but I'm going to try my damndest to get used to that cause it's so freaking pretty! I love that there is a tiny screwdriver inside that attaches to a magnet! How handy is that? I never would have thought of that! Oh - the bottom feed is working perfectly - just as well as my mini ***. What else? Oh - pics! I will take pics as soon as my daughter gets home with her good camera!

Thank you Cappy! Absolutely beautiful work! I might have to make a video if I can figure out how to!

Now - lets hope I don't have to sell her and everything else I own to pay for a stupid root canal and crown. :(

Very happy you like it! The Macassar ebony is one of the loveliest woods I've worked with and it shapes easier than the usual rosewood, a pleasure to create. Treat it like an expensive jewelry box and it should stay lovely for years, arrrr

As for the display, I tried to darken it up but they all came out just a bit splotchy. They are dark like I wanted but when they light up you can see it. I'm looking for an alternative to use next time, they are so bright when they are left plain.
