Ohms law will not allow one to go without the other. If you increase voltage you will increase amps. . The only thing that can change the raise of amps is resistance.Brian,
those boosters are based on one battery, the problem is that the Amps will be too low. What use is it to have 5V with 1.5 amp? that is 7.5 Watt on the atty, it is a gadget!!! Keep up the design you made!!!

The only limitation of the booster in discussion is watts. It cuts out at 12W.
5v with a 3ohm load is 1.66amps at 8.33 watts
5v with a 2.5ohm load is 2amps at 10 watts
Change any of the values the others change proportionately regardless of what chip you look at.
Your not at a fixed value with it either. THat booster is configurable to VV and can span from 3.6V to around 5.5V
Not that it really matters but I wanted to be sure that noone misunderstood. Going back into my hole now.
No dont get me wrong from a business standpoint its not usable. Cost and labor would exceed acceptability in your model. I just wanted to clarify the statements flaws in regard to chip capability. Nuff said Ill go back to my corner.Yes, there are several factors that make the board as it stands unusable to me, but really, what is the gain of using it? I will stick with what I have for now until someone comes out with a cost effective small foot print board that will be essentially plug and play and is actually cheaper than the DE-SWADJ 3. The only advantage I see is the cost of a single 18650 vs two 18350s and perhaps a bit longer between charges.

Even tho I'm in the middle of a batch, I have one I just needed to replace the end cap on and it is good to go, so I shot a quick video of the first operating Mark-5.1 Cutlass. Audioswap in progress but I don't wanna make people wait.

Just an FYI - the two magnets do work with the 18650 battery!
Hi guys, I'm waiting for a Buccanner here, I have 2 AW IMR 18650 at home, can you please confirm if it works with the mod?
Thanks.
Yes it will. It should be able to use any 18650 or dual battery combination of that size you would like to use. I will send magnets to use as spacers for the shorter batteries.
Thanks captain
How long until it's finished? I already have a name for it xD
