Arrrr, sometimes being a guy sucks.
Shortly after noon I got a call from the Commodore, she said she was broke down and I needed to come running. Asking what was wrong she said when she got in the car to come home the engine/transmission started to rock the whole car and make a nasty sound, the faster she went the more crazy the car shook.
Great I thought... engine mounts? Transmission?
Loaded up the Bronco with tools and headed out to where she was. Found here in the coffee shop close by sipping a Cappuccino.
Listened to her telling me again of all the symptoms and possible causes. I assured her that the starter motor and battery where probably A-OK, but I would check the water level in the radiator 'just in case'. Told her to finish her coffee and went out to the parking lot.
Started it up, everything ok. Put it in gear, no problem. Backed up about 5 feet and the car started rocking. Got out, went around the side of the car and looked at the flat tire. So thats what a wheel looks like after you drive on a flat for 5 miles.
Got out the spare tire, hot day today, so it was with mixed feelings that I greeted the afternoon downpour that hit about then.

Is there a real advantage with going with high voltage with higher ohm instead of low v and low ohm?
After all it's all matter of watts or heat produced right?
Like... 2.0ohm + 4.1v gives 8.4 watts but so does 3.5ohm + 5.4v combo.
so what's the difference really?

I may be wrong, but wasn't the different ohm ratings originally so that you could alter your total watts using a typical 3.7V setup? Then people started stacking batteries so that added a new twist. Now with VV, it seems to kinda make it pointless as you can adjust the voltage instead of the resistance to get the watt output that you want.
Good question, I can't say that I know for sure, but when I'm at say 11 watts on LR, LV it somehow feels cooler than 11 watts on HR, HV. Maybe an EE could explain it to me?!

I just think it tastes warmer because I'm being influenced by the crowd 
I aint no electrical engineer or nothing but I think it's harder on a battery to soak it's power out than just to let it rip.

11 watts sounds quite high. Do your atomizers last long enough?
I was using this hybrid atty at slightly over 10 watts and it popped after 6 days.
Then people told me not to go higher than 4.2v on 2.0ohm atties so I'm at 4.1v right now(8.4watts).

Flavor seems to taste different depending on what juice you have on. Some flavors are better suited to high resistance HV while others taste horrible on those settings but alright with a low resistance atomizer at standars 3.7 V.

I've only burned through 6 atties since Oct. '10 - KNOCK ON WOOD. I've not had many attie problems, but I keep them super wet - always on the verge of flooding. I also always remove the wick, or as much of it as I can. I don't like the taste of it. I leave the bridge and mesh alone. Oh, my juice is around 33pg/66vg. I don't know if any of this makes a difference...
I also have a 2.1ohm atty on my ProVari @ 5V right now. I often like to go up to 12watts - I haven't had any problems... not sure why.
