If you want to run in VV mode (and so with power electronically regulated) i think even Ultrafire XSL could work as well as other common li-ion batteries. In mecanical mode at 3,7v AW IMR are best choice, but even unbranded IMR works pretty well!! When you don't have any electronic control you must have some "aggressive" batteris to fire up LR attys!!IMHO!!
Cheers dinger, much appreciated! I have a few aw's for standard mode, will definitely grab another pair of 18350's for Vv as I don't think my current volume of 2 will cut it!

I keep looking at my RSM and it is really special!!! Wasn't sure about the color of the end caps and Cappy suggested or said that the bubinga would like great with the ebony and it does! But seeing it now, it's extra special because my son is a fireman/paramedic and he hated me smoking. Been smoke free for almost a year and a half now and he's so proud of me. My new RSM looks to be black and red and that is very significant and special to me because the colors of Fire Rescue here is black and red, those are my son's colors.
Thanks again, Cappy!!!! You really made my day! :)
