Lol. It's ok. I'm not in a huge rush. My vaping budget is already pretty much out the window as it is, but If there is room after the first call out, I'll give it a go.

My biggest problem is that I'm really picky with regards to wood. It may be the type I want, but more often than not I'm looking for a specific grain pattern or characteristic.

Ben, trust me on this….there is no way that you will be disappointed. You get to choose your wood combination from a list (pictures) that he provides during pre-orders. He will post pictures during the stages of completion. He shows you the final product before you purchase and gives you the option to back out. Has this ever happened?? IDK. Wait till he announces the pre-order and pick your wood combination FAST!! The run is limited and he really pays attention to quality over quanity.

I don't know if he still posts the individual wood pieces or just an example of each wood type now. In any case, I bet if you asked nicely, he'd find one with a nice pattern for you.

One person that comes to mind that backed out, that mod was my main vape for many months, the cedar mod "Vicky". She has been semi retired for the new 5.1 I'm using that failed final inspection (the voltage display didn't work and I didn't realize it until after I had glued the end cap together).

Hmm, it was #502? 503? I think, first couple VV mods I made and he wanted one with a led display built into it.



Back to sanding, stooopid pump repair cost me half a day.

Cool. I bought a mod a few weeks ago. Not because it was Brazilian rosewood (didn't even know it was Brazilian), but be cause it was dark with some very light sapwood with light accents. The sapwood made me want it. (not trying to dixcuss competition, just explaining how my stupid brain works)
