Ahoy and good morning to all!

I just realized I better order a couple more IKV cannons now before this last one croaks on me or gets too clogged to use and found out about the website problems they are having, I be a sad pirate :(

Fortunately I have a tank and a handful of 510 Titans to hold me over until they get back up, arrr

Capt... What do you use the Cannons on? I ordered a few when they first came out and had bad luck with them gurgling and leaking. Also.. what's your preferred atty on the RSM Variable Volt? Have a great weekend, all.

spike, i'm just a lowly crew member but maybe i can answer some of these questions for ya! the cannon's are awesome on the Cutlass! they are alot wider than 510's so on alot of mods the catch cup is barely big enough or doesn't fit. The Cutlass on the other hand has a big catch cup that is perfect for the IKV cannon atty. they are leaky in my experience, but catch cups fix that issue.

@ken729:
Yeah.. I gravitated to using them on a REO Grand specifically because of the catch well built into the Grand... but with the leaking (and this issue may be fixed with the Cannons now since I got them when they first came out), it would still overflow over the catch well. I found I'd have to do non-powered hits to suck the juice up to the atty. and then hit it while the coil was wet.

For anyone that wants to answer: What atty./ohm are you using on the Cutlass?

For myself, I try to stay around 8 to 9 watts of power whatever I am using. My favorite combo atm is a IKV canon 3.5 or 2.5 ohm set to 8.5 watts. I also like the Titan atty from totally wicked but they do not have a real long life. The Canon I just retired after 6 weeks was simply too clogged with cinnamon oil crud that I could not even get it cleaned out but it was still firing fine.

I am waiting for batch 9 for mine but my mom uses 2 ohm boge cartos at 4.6v and she really likes it. She was sick for about 3 days right after she got it and I got a chance to play with it and also really like that combo. FWIW with this combo she is getting about 1 full bottle between battery changes and it doesn't even really need to be done then it is just easier to change the batterys when we top off the bottle.

Italian customs finally decided that it was time for my baby to come home. I received my package today, I almost cried when I opened the box. I'll post later on my first impressions and maybe some pics. Got to go, Nube Rossa is calling...
