Hmmm, maybe some type of chat then? Easier then sending PMs or emails and waiting for replies. Other than that, I'm all out of ideas. I imagine any type of online ordering system will still leave unanswered details or questions that need to be nailed down.
The only simple way is to have standard wood and shape choices,no other options and I know as much as current and future pirates like to agonize over the abundant choices you have,a standard RSM would go over like a pirate ship with a hole in the bottom.Pirates gotta have a one of a kind,personalized RSM.That's why you're the Capt'

That is an idea though, I could get the majority of choices taken care of with drop down menus and then all I have to do is get any engraving sent separately. No matter how many options I offer, invariably someone wants a different one so a menu driven system might help there too. The more efficient I am the more mods I can make, arrrr!

Something else I have noticed is altho I offer what, over 40 different wood choices? It seems like I make the same half dozen wood types again and again, perhaps I am wasting resources offering too big a variety of wood.

Cappy - I wonder if people choose based on models they've already seen that look good. If they had examples of the other wood types, they might choose them. Not that you should make one out of each wood type as an example... but, maybe a picture with different combos next to each other so people could see how the various woods would look together? Though, that actually just makes your job harder. Hmmm...

That is a good idea and if the order form allowed you to upload an image for engraving and allowed you to choose where to put it it would be even better.
I know it may help if people could see the types of wood in a finished form. The blocks you show have no finish on them and don't look much like they do when you are done with them. Or just go to your photobucket site and label the pics with the types of wood used. That's where I looked to get an idea as to the types of wood I wanted.

Hey guys, I have a RSM with normal feeding with the tube, thing is I want to try the inverted method, from what I understand I just have to take off the tube right? The tube is very tight to the upper piece and I have to do some strength to pull it off, is this normal?

Yes, you should be able to just pull that tube off. It's normal to be on there snugly - otherwise it would leak all over the place. Maybe use your fingernail to get in between the top of the tube and kind of slide it off?

You're welcome! Yes, you can put the tube back on. It should slide onto the metal piece easily. I've taken mine off before and had no trouble putting it back on.
I use the tube. I have never tried the tilt and shoot method. You'll have to let me know how you like it!

I've done both. My Phids are tilt and shoot and the buccaneer was a squeezer. They both accomplish the same thing just as effectively. It's all a matter of personal choice. Most people just want to do it a certain way because that the way they've always done it.
