Airborn, so sorry about your dad. Prayers are being sent for your dad and family.

Pchela, I'm glad no one was injured. Bummer about the car though. Ain't kids fun? My jewels are 27 to 34 years old, and I still feel very protective over them. The concern for our children never ends; I guess that's the way it should be.

Ahoy, good morning all! Hope you all have a fine weekend.

Sorry to hear that AB, whats the prognosis If I may ask?

We just got the results of the biopsy last night. He is going to a cancer treatment center here in Houston next week to figure out a plan of attack. I'll keep yawl updated as I get more information.

I'm not going to be one of those that gets the RSM and ya never here from them. I've found a home here and would like to stay awhile if it's ok.

Thanks everybody for all your thoughts and prayers. It is welcomed and needed. Gonna be a rough couple of months. Almost guaranteed he'll go through chemo. With all the advancements nowadays his odds aren't too bad. Dad is getting up there in age. Hell I'm 44 and dad is 68. He's a tough old bird though and he has mom and 3 kids to help him through it.

I can relate to what you are going through, only it was my son who had cancer, Hodgkin's lymphoma, when he was only 21, a newlywed with a 1 year old and a newborn. It was really tough, and he had to rely heavily on all of us to get through it. His chemo was hellish, but he got through it. I am happy to say that he is now 31, and doing very well. Even after the chemo, he gave us a granddaughter, and they said he'd be sterile. Your family will truly be in my thoughts and prayers daily.
