And to think, I didn't even say it on purpose!
Get a wench and a tank,my feeders don't get much use since I got my wench.
I'm finding that I use more liquid with the wench(or any mod with a carto tank)
Maybe because I chain vape that thing!
Bummer, I missed a busy night on the thread tonight
I put another coat of finish on Batch #7, Monday, possibly Tuesday is still looking good for shipping.
Sat down and made 4 prototypes today while the batch was on the drying rack.
So far the sizes have come out as follows for the side panel access;
Mark-3 Scallywag 2.9" tall, 2.25" wide, .85" thick (same as the original style)
Mark-5.2 Cutlass; 4.4" x 2.6" x 1" (almost the same)
Mark-6 Wench 3.5" x 1.85" x 1" (basic, just VV) (with the Mark-6.1 wench available for only a few dollars more, is this model a waste of time?)
Mark-6.1 Wench 4.4" x 2" x 1" (VV, LED, dual mode)
Mark-7 Destroyer 4.4" x 2.1" x 1.2" (VV, LED, dual mode, inset tank compartment)
I made one prototype of each out of pine tonight. Next break I get I will be double checking the fit of the parts, sanding them and testing assembly. If all goes well and I can hammer out a couple other steps I think I should be able to make the change for the next batch. There will be no significant outward appearance changes but the internal layout will be different now.
To view the voltage display and get to the switches now you simply remove the side panel. It will give the mod a much cleaner look with only the Fire button and CC on the outside. I think I will make a voltage display window optional in case you want to see it light up all the time. Now if I could just figure out where to put the stupid mini screwdriver, I have like NO spare room inside them now, arggggg
Oh yeah, the Scallywag is still a 14500 battery, all the rest will begin using 16340 batteries as I have been convinced that they will be superior to what I had been using before. Same or better capacity and smaller footprint.

Wow sounds like you've been busy... cappy..

I wouldnt say the wench is a waste of time whats the price diff? can you still use reg atties if yanto? can we get a pic?
Just my opinion but i think the 18350's last longer then the 16340's

But the size factor would be a huge consideration. Syrena uses 2 18350s, but has no display, and isn't dual mode. Would I want a display and all the other stuff? Not if it changed the size considerably. just my 2 cents.

Is it the extra height or the extra depth that you wouldn't like Ben? The 6.1 wench is only .15 of an inch deeper, although it is almost an inch taller.
