Yeah, it sits at the bottom of the atty so it doesn't add any length to it.
Ok, this is the best I can do, I am working on converting 4 models to this type of repairable layout.
This is a mockup of the destroyer so I can test fit components and see how it all comes together. I've altered some things already but the layout is still the same. As you can see the tank is setting down into the mod to protect it and keep it from getting banged around.
No shown is a thick top end cap with a hole that will allow the tank to go down into the body and add about .3" more protection to the tank. The side panel is also not show and will be just a rectangle with magnets to hold it firm. I laid the other components down so you could see what will go where.

Don't worry - I'll be fine Dellboy. You really shouldn't feel guilty sitting there with your 2 RSM's and a SweetVape when my 1 year vaperversary hits and I'm still woodless.
Thanks Sallie..Your Cutlass with the inlay and the wood combo is my favorite RSM of all I have seen..
I'm going to ask for a wood inlay when I preorder my Batch 8 RSM..
Oh yeah, the current dimension of the Mark-7 are 4.5" tall, 2.15 wide and 1" thick.

That looks awesome! Yup. If it's ready for production for batch 8, I'm in. If not, I'll wait. The white teak body and bloodwood caps. (and a brushed steel button)
The lava is .75" in diameter. So it would be snug, but it would look killer!
Hmmm. I have a lava tank on the way. Cappy's Destroyer needs my lavatank in it but I want a Wench... badly. I wish I could afford both then I would pull the trigger immediately. Decisions, decisions.
