WOW Captain! It looks like all the hard work paid off, Bravo! I really like the layout - everything has its own compartment. Very nice … very nice indeed! :toast:

Question. If you wanted to just drip, could an atty or carto still be used instead of a tank or would it not fit? I'm wondering if it would be long enough.

A regular atty is around 1 inch so would sit a bit under the level of the end cap, but any type of drip tip on the end would stick above the top of the end cap.

Does the 4.75" height include the tank? That looks awesome! Can't wait for my bloodwood and teak Destroyer! :)

No, thats the height of the mod itself. To envelope more of the tank I would have to make it even taller, but I think its at a good level now for 1" tanks too.

Want to see a prototype of the new Mark-8?

This is the Mark-8 Sabre, 6ml feeder using 16340 batts with safety switch and voltage display. I must admit that holding the thin models at 2" x 1" is a more comfortable feel than the 2.6" cutlass. Last thing I need to do now is figure out the wiring and as long as I get that hammered out these are also ready for production.

Holy crap wee gonna need a list of models available and the prices now.. Im so lost on what to get in batch 8... EEK!

Well, we could look at it like this. The Mark-7 Destroyer is made so a tank can be inset, but also works as a regular old VV mod without a CC and can cover most bases except being a feeder.

The new Mark-8 Sabre is a slimmed down version of the Cutlass and is alot more hand friendly and repair friendly as well while also using 16340 batteries, sooooo, just those two models may cover most of the needs of people shopping for mods :)

Yes, the Mark-6 Wench VV tank mod, the Mark-7 Destoyer Inset tank mod and the Mark-8 Sabre 6ml bottom feeder are the 3 models I will be offering and they all now take 16340 batteries.

Also, I am still using the same catch cups on the Sabre that you all liked, but I am now insetting those as well to make it look leaner and meaner, arrrrr!

Another looong day, think I might go relax my brain before tomorrow hits. Tomorrow I have to begin to wire them and create schematics , gonna be another long day!
