Okey doke. Here is the first Mark-8 working unit, just needs some totally minor tweaking and I think it is ready to go. The wiring takes twice as long as normal, but it is mostly out of sight and has a pretty clean look don't you think?
The CC is inset about half its height to further prevent leaks and I tried a little more oval of a squonk hole than the previous models.
I used a display I usually use for testing, the normal ones will be black and you adjust the voltage from the bottom as usual.

Indeed, it's gorgeous! The black walnut is sexy and looks awesome with the cocobola. (sp?) I can't wait to try one out! I bet it'll be super comfy to hold too!
I must admit, it is a bit (ok alot) more comfortable to hold with the smaller dimensions than the Cutlass but It will be a bit more tippy due to that. I don't have to jocky the mod around in my hand to press the button, its nice and easy to push, yeah... I like it more, wish I could have done this months ago but all things in their time.
Guess we'll all just have to order custom caddies to hold our new mods and keep them from tipping over!
About .8" shorter I think. I will have some final sizes when I finish the prototypes.
