Argg, 16 hour day, my boss is such an *##&(*@, this is a bit long even for me. Time to kill the lights and relax for a bit b4 bed.
Okey doke. Here is the first Mark-8 working unit, just needs some totally minor tweaking and I think it is ready to go. The wiring takes twice as long as normal, but it is mostly out of sight and has a pretty clean look don't you think?
The CC is inset about half its height to further prevent leaks and I tried a little more oval of a squonk hole than the previous models.
I used a display I usually use for testing, the normal ones will be black and you adjust the voltage from the bottom as usual.

That does look very nice indeed. The difference from how it looks raw to how it looks finished is huge. As i wont ship mine for repairs, i still want a classic Cutlass 5.1. Glad that option is still there. I think it will make a nice cristmas present for myself.

That looks AWESOME. I'll be ordering one of those just as soon as the batch 8 preorder starts. I would love it in cocobolo with ebony endcaps.

With the 16340's sholud I get the AW IMR's or the AW ICR's...

Since starting this in February? Never. What would I do? Sit around the house and THINK about designs and stuff. If I really want a day off I will just walk away, besides, there are some new Video Games coming out around x-mas that I am looking forward to playing so then I will take some time off.

Knights of the Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3 (not due until Feb I think), just to name a few. Which ever one is released first and then for a time I will be going from 90+ hour weeks down to a reasonable 50+ hour week I think, lol.
