I'm getting 13/16ths on the delrin, aluminum and stainless although I stink at measuring so I've just sent one off to the garage with my husband to measure with his caliper.
Okay, with husband measuring it is .85
Awesome, thanks.
So, with .85, I need minimum clearance, prolly .9" plus wall .1", lid .15" min = 1.15" thick, plus I need extra wood thickness as it needs to be cut and sanded smooth and level, call it 1.25" thick and 2.2" wide to accommodate the
tank.
Altho the figures are off the top of my head they should be pretty acurate. So I need to purchase wood that is 1 1/4 thick which will as I well know start to drastically limit what is available as lumber is sold predominately in 3/4" size and the thicker you get the smaller the selection.
Knowing that, I could offer them, but with a much smaller wood selection for bodies I'm afraid.
Arrrr, always some kind of trade-off when dealing with this stuff.
