Eagerly awaiting the moment when we get to choose the woods and other components, hopefully this week. Too late for an X-mas present for me, as shipping will take 2 weeks at least, but it will get here in time for my b-day for sure. Since no1 out there wants to sell me a dark wood 5.1 , my hope is that i will get the chance to find that among the choices for the Mk8 Dreadnought.
I think i sorted the proper atomizers for it aswell, all that's left is to get 4x Xstar protected 600mah batteries.

At what point did the holidays become less fun and more stressful? *sigh*

I hope everybody else had a less stressful day today! Fighting the crowds at the mall is something I don't want to do again!

Good night!

Move here, I went shopping and there were no crowds. Zero, zip, zilch, nada. :) It surprises me every year. I'm used to the crowds in NJ.

I am sitting here looking my some bee-u-ti-ful mods. The workmanship is beyond awesome!! The grain in the wood is fabutastic. I've never seen such a clean design inside of a mod!!

I just pm'd back and forth with Cappy because my tank doesn't sit flush because of the beautiful curved design on the bottom of the tank well. For this reason, the carto will not make contact with the connection.

Cappy has graciously offered to sand it down flat for me, so, alas, I will be without them for a bit longer....:( Oh, woe is me...

Arrr, I had assumed that if my tanks fit then all the .75" and smaller tanks would. You know what they say about assuming ....

The bottom of the tank well is a "U" shape, and altho the atty connector sits up a bit, apparently not quite enough for the DC tank to clear the sloped sides. So I will square the bottom of the well from now on just in case. It's a very easy alteration.

If you get one of the 4 shipped Destroyers that have the U shaped well and it doesn't work for you, please just send it back and I will fix it up quick and get it back to you.

Pity, I thought it added a bit of elegance to an otherwise plain-Jane interior.... alas...

Oh, I agree that the the U shaped bottom is quite lovely, as is everything about these beauties. Elegant doesn't begin to describe the craftmanship of these! :)

Didn't mean to be a "complainer". But I do think that flattening out the U will save you some grief in the long run...
