Ahoy all. I guess I should pop in and say howdy!
I'm getting some work done while also enjoying time with the family, I've managed to get all the boxes cut to size, the doors cut and shaped, all the routing done and end caps mounted on the mods, next I need to start installing magnets and think about putting more finish on the boxes then final assembly.
I have two mods in house for repairs, both of them need new connectors that have failed, the atty inner seal separated causing the mod to ground when the atomizer was installed too tight, and another failure coming back which may just be caused by a poorly made connector.
I get my 510 connectors from Liberty Flights, but I used to get them from Madvapes until they changed vendors and suddenly I had connectors that had holes too small for my feed tubes.
I am curious if there are more than just a few vendors from china that supply these things, something I have not done much research on and I am not sure how I would even start, but I would certainly like to find a more reliable and well made connector and a place to buy them to eliminate the problems I have been seeing in the last couple months concerning them.
If anyone has any info on a more robust atty connector, better quality, better isolation seals, please shoot me a PM with any info you can supply.

I was wondering the same thing when I was getting a bunch of bad Boges. I'm just wondering if they change there processes to suit there needs. Quality control doesn't seem to be their number one priority.

I sometimes wish RSM was more than just a Hobby on steroids, I would actually love it if I could have a atty connector custom made with a beefy center seal and a catch cup all in one piece and forever totally eliminate any possibility of leaks or failure ... I sure wish I could ....
Something like that would cost at least 5-6 dollars a piece and would most likely require a minimum of 100 pieces to be done.
Fairly sure one of the other wood mod makers is getting them made or has a different source. I saw a pic the other day and it was made different. Might be worth asking around. Cant for the life of me remember whose thread it was in......

It's from the first batch, so it's another Mahogany with Zebra end caps.
