I bet Cappy will give us a rough time frame of when to be ready to pounce so we don't have to watch the thread like hawks all of the time. Unless he's feeling cruel!

I shall, and also I am going to do a bit smaller batches so they will be posted more often than before, and I might do a few mark-7, a few mark-8 and a few 3.7v mods as there is still alot of people who like 3.7v mods as well.

Captain/Red Sky pros: Just got my mark 8 bottom feeder. First RSM for me. Couple of questions;
-is there a trick to filling the bottle? I wasted about 6ml before I watched the video (squirting the juice bottle into the feed bottle, bad idea), tried the right method and it doesn't fill the bottle up. I Keep squeezing the fill bottle and it hardly fills. Also, the metal tube on one fill bottle barely sticks out, the other fill bottle it comes out a lot more. Is there a correct length for this? Do you just pull it out a little?
-some of my juice is in dropper bottles, is there a way to use these to fill or do you need to transfer?
-is there a place inside the mod to store the little screwdriver?
-is there an indicator that signals when to change the batteries?
I thinks this will be good once I sort things out. Thanks for any help.

Anyone know if a shorty 510 to 510 will sit flush with the top of the cup on a Cutlass 5.1? I am wanting to use my rebuildable tank with my Cutlass but don't want it to sit any higher up then it has to. Thanks

Hey Fright, I buy these and they sit .05 above the catch cup.

i couldnt find a picture of the dreadnaught version but this is the destroyer, there shoudl be a place liek this inside the mod for the little screwdriver

with the 5.1 there was no indicator but when you push the button in the led would kinda blink, my advice is to have a full charge set of batteries wiht you at all times, lol

the fulling on the bottles, lol i must of messed something up i usually just pull the top off and fill it all in, wheres the ideo that shows you how to fill it?

Here is the video on filling the bottles. Keep in mind it is an old video and most of the newer drip tips on the bottles make it tricky. I just pop the top off my feeder bottle and fill it up that way.

And I have looked through Capt. Brian's pictures and don't see where the screwdriver goes either.

I don't think there is a spot in the Mark-8 specified for the screw driver. I thinks someone was just putting it in along the side of the feed bottle.

As far as filling bottles and joose, I'm having a hard time understanding what you're trying to say.

There's no indicator for the batteries that I'm aware of.

Long story, but here's the short version. Back in the early 90's, I started having panic attacks, diagnosed w/ panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression. Who wouldn't be depressed? Tried about a dozen different meds, gained 80 lbs. in 8 months, very frustrating. Present day, still on 2 meds, stil struggle with those same pounds, although I have lost quite a bit of it. Bummer...

BTW, nice review!
Honestly, I put on 50 lbs in under a year when I was on a certain, crappy medication and now I'm trying to figure out how to take it off! I never had to diet before.. was always thin. :(
I don't like the extra weight at all.

Do you mean that you can't get the juice into the bottle in the mod or that the juice from the bottle in the mod isn't traveling to the catch cup and atomizer when you squeeze it?

I use my dropper bottles to fill my mod bottle. I just pop off the top of the bottle in the mod, move it to the side and put the dropper of the juice bottle in the mod bottle and squeeze it to fill.

The metal tube that sticks down from the top; I have one that is a bit shorter than my others but as long as the tube will fit and stay on it, it is fine.

There is not a place in the Mark 8 to store the screwdriver. There is in the Mark 7 and you may have seen pictures of that.

There is no specific indicator that the batteries are dead. When they are almost dead, the digital readout will flash. Other than that, the mod simply won't function.

I'm a bit confused about what you mean by filling but I hope this helps somewhat.

Ahoy, good morning all!

As mentioned above, the easiest way might be to just pop the top off the bottle to fill it.

No, no battery level indicator on any mod except a few Mark-5.1. If you are using any type of protected battery, such as Ultrafire or Trustfire it will simply stop working when the battery gets too low.

I didn't want to make the mark-8 bigger just to hold the screwdriver, so as mentioned before I just lay the little screwdriver alongside the bottle or just keep it in my desk drawer.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.. Yes you can pull the steel needle out a bit more if you wish, you can completely disassemble the bottle (they are actually pretty easy to take apart) and adjust the tube length to whatever you like.

Arrrr....need more coffee...
